Located at the former Edmunds High School, next to Patriot Hall & the Sumter Little Theater. I know very little of art and possess no artistic ability, so keep that in mind. But, I really did not enjoy this place at all. Two rooms, with a total of 25 – 30 pieces of art in the entire museum. The exhibits rotate every couple of months, showcasing local artists, or people who used to live in Sumter. Admission is free, but a $ 2 donation is suggested per adult. My wife and I signed the guestbook at the request of the curator. There were only about 10 signatures in the book from the past 6 days. If you live in the area and are curious, go right ahead. But please don’t make the trip from out of town! It’s not worth it!
