I went to Dr. Sehgal. The office girls are amazing! Pam and Cindy are normally who you will talk to at the front, and Cameron will mostly like take you back to the room to take your weight and blood pressure he’s super nice and then Sabrina is the girl in front of the chemo room, she will tell you who your scheduled with each time and will who you’ll call if your not feeling well. As far as chemo nurses the ABSOLUTE BEST is Trina I had her almost 100% of the time and she’s amazing ! Leslie is great too, this office is simply amazing they have supported me since day 1 and have never let me down! Thank you !!!

We FIRED Dr. Seghal as our oncologist and we filed complaints with our insurance company and the Medical Board. A Cancer Diagnosis and Chemotherapy Treatment can be grueling and frightening. We needed a doctor who was going to fight alongside of us, answer questions and provide our loved one with the respect, dignity and care all patients deserve. I would compare our experience at Dr. Seghal’s office like driving through a bad fast food restaurant it more like DRIVE THROUGH CHEMO then patient care! Of course I always try to find the good in everything so I have included the positives and the negatives below.
The Positives:
* The Office is clean and beautiful
* Jenee at the front reception area is wonderful
* Erin in the billing department returns calls and is very pleasant
* Dr. Seghal makes a good first impression
* Chemo Nurse Mary Beth is knowledgeable, patient & informative
The Negatives:
* The Waiting Room; beautiful accept unfortunately every time we were there an elderly patient would tell us horror stories about the lack of treatment or bad experience they or their loved one had received at Dr. Seghal’s office.
* Chemo Nurse Debbie has a terrible disposition. She is quite the sour puss and I think her face would crack if she smiled! She is not the first person you want to see when you are coming in for chemo.
* Chemo Treatment Room: Again clean, comfortable and beautiful too bad the staff does not match the décor.
* Dr. Seghal is nice as long as you do not question or disagree with him; we got a 2^nd opinion and wanted to discuss it with him. He said he knew what he was doing and if we did not like his treatment we should find another doctor and he literally walked but he did return a few minutes later more composed. Maybe he has not read «THE PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS» which encourages 2^nd opinions and advises patients to ask questions are perhaps his EGO is just too BIG!
* Trina the Office Manager does not return phone calls even when she promised she will no matter how sick you are she doesn’t call back. .. so much for patient care and thank goodness for Urgent Care.
* Collecting their money they receive 5 Stars in this category; amazing how efficient and nice they can all be when they want money! Too bad that does not carry over to how they treat sick and dying patients.
The Best News
* We changed Primary Care doctors and our new doctor referred us to a wonderful Oncologist with a warm and loving staff and the experience has been like night and day.
The Lessons Learned
* A great primary care doctor works with other great doctors so now we know that it is so important to select a great primary care doctor.
* The staff in a doctor’s office usually represents how the doctor is going to be. Caring Staff does equal Caring Doctor!
* It is OK to ask questions, every patient deserves respect and dignified care especially when the odds are against them!
