REVIEW BY A 30-SOMETHING IN TOWN FOR A VISIT:
If you want something fun to do with the relatives, suggest coming here for Bingo on Thursday nights!
THE GIST: Lots of retirees playing a mean game of Bingo. By lots, I mean a LARGE room filled with a LARGE number of people. You play about 14 games of Bingo with about a 8 minute intermission.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Bring cash. Prepare to have fun playing Bingo for less that $ 15.
You can buy a Bingo marker there if you need one.
Bring drinks and snacks; if you forget, there are small items for sale there.
Don’t talk during the game. You will get dirty looks for sure. That being said, it is pretty fun.
Get here early to sit together. I would suggest by 6:00 (as long as the times don’t change)
PRIZES ARE PRETTY SOLID: About $ 100 per game and about $ 1,000 for the final game, which is a «cover all.» There are also 2 «special games» for which you must buy separate bingo cards, $ 1 a piece I think. Each of those games pay out about $ 500.
FINAL VERDICT: A fun night out with the relatives if you are going a bit stir crazy!
