Mr. Rudd’s Barbershop

Never get a cut by the woman here. If there is more than one female working here, this review is of the almost 50 y/​o that smells like booze at 9am, and coughs all over you. She had to have Mr. Rudd jump in to tell her how to cut hair. By the time he had intervened, it was too late. If you don’t know how to cut the hair the way that is requested, why would you start cutting off hair?
Asked for an undercut fade with the top not to be messed with. She cut off a ridiculous amount. Job literally required next to no scissor work, but she just started chopping away.
Place is really cool corner location with the awesome midwest downtown Main Street vibe, but the help apparently is beyond being helped.

Excellent service and great haircut! Authentic barber shops are fading out in this fast paced world. So do yourself and the art of men’s haircuts a favor, slow down a bit and make an appointment with Mr. Rudd you won’t be disappointed. Exactly what the east side needed.

Mr. Rudd does an excellent job of cutting my hair. I’m an extremely picky customer and Mr. Rudd hasn’t let me down. Prior to Mr. Rudd’s, I lived in Phoenix and Southern California where styles are typically ahead of the Midwest. Mr. Rudd was up-​to-​date on current trends and delivered on his promises. I’ve waited until I’ve had my hair cut 5 times in order to give a review based on consistency and quality. I would highly recommend Mr. Rudd’s barbershop.

So glad to see a new barbershop in Sun Prairie! Especially since Bill and Lyle closed shop last year. This place is downtown at the corner of Main St and Columbus St. Lori cut my hair today and she did a great job. She spent a good amount of time getting it right. I will be coming back! It’s difficult to find a place that gives good consistent men’s haircuts. I hope this place will be my new home for haircuts!
