We hired R.A.Y’s Pool Plastering for our pool remodeling work: mini pebble finish/tile/pool light/salt system/patio cover and pavers. Ramon the owner is easy to talk to and seems to know a lot about his pool plastering services. However, this project was more than a pool plastering job so he had a sub-contractor named Pedro working with him for the pavers and patio cover work. Originally, we were told by Ramon that all the pool work+pavers was going to take about 3−4weeks to be done and during the first few days we decided to add a patio cover too. Which«apparently» delayed the work and from the 3−4weeks to 6weeks and a few days. Our experience with the sub-contractor Pedro wasn’t too pleasant since there was about 6days not counting weekends without no signs of work and this was a BIGISSUE! After complaining a few times with Ramon. It was incredible to see how much work they got done in only 3 days to basically finish after missing so many other days. Smh In the future, I would use R.A.Y’s Pool Plastering for only my pool services and not including any additional work. Overall 2.5STARS

Purchased a mini pebble tec finish with 20 percent abalone and had my tile installed by RAYs. The pool turned out great and the work was done expeditiously. Ray and Ray Jr. were very helpful and professional.

RAY’S Pool Plastering has not only been a pleasure to work with, but their work is truly professional! They work quickly in scheduling, and work at the job until it is finished. They have done a beautiful job on my pool tile. I couldn’t be happier that I had decided on them. I had a few recommendations from friends, but chose them because they gave me as estimate on the spot, and made it happen quickly! The water is going in now, and it is the best money we have spent to update our pool.

Stay away from this company. They caused serious water damage under our house. Clearly their fault. They refuse to pay or clean up the damage. I have filed a complaint on their contractor’s license. They say they have filed a claim with their insurance company but refuse to give me a claim number, and nobody from their insurance has contacted us. There were bad signs in the middle of the job but I was too far in to find another company. The owner, Ramon, never showed up when he was supposed to, he would show up unannounced and walk into my backyard, he never came through on giving me addresses to look at the finish we were considering. Showed up a day late and then 8 hours late that day for the last part of the job(the acid wash, which caused the damage). On and on. A bad company, a terrible experience.
