I signed up yesterday and the lady there was very nice in explainin everything to be as I have not used a tanning bed before. I signed up for the week unlimited with the cash I had and she said I would have no problem upgrading it to the month when I go in today. It was very clean in there despite what some other Unilocal posts say. It may be due to the face that they are under new management. It is not called Hot sun. there are a couple other words but that’s the first part of the new name on the building and contrary to the directions it is right next to the O’Rielly auto parts store. They had some extremely cute bathing suits and t-​shirts as well.
Can’t wait to go back today for another session.

I’ve been going here about 4 – 5 years. It is clean and neat, the girls are very nice and very helpful. Last year or maybe it’s been two years, two of the regular beds their wall switch did not work. You have to set your time and then hop in the bed. Remember bed has started and those bulbs are BRIGHT! Just signed up for 3 months, the two regular bed wall switches still do not work and now in another regular bed the small wheel on the lip of the bed is missing so you cannot adjust the air flow once the bed has started. It is very clear the owner does not want to take care of the little things here. Not much competition in this business but the owners really need to take care of their shop. I love to tan and will keep coming here but fix the little things.

I really like this tanning salon and I absolutely love their stand-​up bed. They keep this place pretty clean and the employees are always friendly. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because their packages are way too expensive and they got rid of their «Month Unlimited» package plan for the stand up bed. I unfortunately had to take my business somewhere else.

Clean and simple! All you need in a tanning salon. The girl working was very nice and informative! ! It was quiet when I walked in but after I got into my room she turned the music on in the lobby so it wasn’t awkwardly quiet! Really like this place. I will definitely be going back!

As a walk in and fairly new to tanning, I found this place very nice and welcoming. The front desk gal answered all of my questions without hesitation or guessing. She was super sweet! I signed up and had a bed right away. The only thing I was uncomfortable with was the silence. You could hear everything! It made me feel weird when I was applying the tanning lotion… Pfft, swish, swish, swish. I’m leaving the 5 stars because that may just be my own issue, but some background music would be nice.

I have to say that most of the paradise tans I’ve been to are similar. The other two (in La Crescenta and La Canada) may have 1 star above this location. The customer service isn’t the greatest. I’d say choose a non-​franchised place for tans.

I’ve been coming to Paradise tan for over 6 years. Here is what I like.
1. They are speedy and efficient
2. The rooms and beds are impeccably clean
3. They have CD players in every room
4. The prices are super duper, especially if you buy a package
5. It’s comfortable
I’ve tried a couple other tanning places and they don’t compare. At all.

CLEAN! That is what I look for when I go tanning. A clean environment. Lol. Also, I would recommend doing a higher quality bed. The basics take forever and you have to go all the time to get darker. Plus I burn sometimes which is really rare for me. So spend the extra cash!
