Amazing food grilled snapper and ceviche. The and service by Julia and Sasha at the bar is the best. I am coming back.

This was my favorite meal while in Miami. I ordered two Key Lime martinis, one of my favorite drinks while in Florida. I also loved the Buffalo Shrimp that I ordered. Everyone in my group loved everything they ordered, it definatley helped make up for the rain outside. Definatley give this place a shot.

The food is decent and the prices are slightly high but you get the best view in Miami! Most servers are good but there are some bad apples! CAUTION so it does not happen to you: happy hour is from Mon-Fri from 3: pm to 6: pm and you get draft beer specials and some sushi rolls specials. Most servers will gladly tell you if you ask them, but be careful in the bar area, the blondie named SASHA will try to rip you off!!! This already happened 2 times, she will deny that there is food specials and will charge you regular price for happy hour beer prices. She had to get the manager to change it when I complained. Hopefully she is not ripping people off anymore!

I am still here and honestly this place is beautiful with a view but the food is plain blah. The appetizer calamari was way too breaded. No meat. The drinks were not that good and not too strong. The mahi mahi sandwich was ok but the fries were stale and I think they needed to change the oil. My advice is to come to the bar, have some straight up liquor and enjoy the view but move on.

Excellent food, sushi and calamari were of superior quality. Very interesting appetizers like spicy conch and octopus was amazing. Steamed clams were fantastic, remember to order bread with it, comes with crackers but the bread is to die for. Bartender vet knowledgeable about the area and things to see and do. Great view, outdoor and indoor seating. Good draft beer selection.

This place is so bad, its not even good. Its just bad. The only redeeming factor about this place is a guy named Chris, who has served us before and I think either is the manager or was the manager on duty on Christmas night when we went to eat there this(last) time. He was memorable to me because he was, and continues to be, a natural in regards to customer service. I get that no one wants to work Christmas Day, but he was the only one that evening who even made an attempt to make us feel welcome to the restaurant that evening. It started earlier that day when my husband and I went to the desk to make a reservation for that evening. The guy who was there took the reservation into a pad, but when we showed up later, the hostess couldn’t find it. Thus began a mess of trying to find an outside table that we had originally requested and them sticking us in a makeshift setup by the front door. By this point, the hostess has served us a bunch of nastiness and attitude and Chris had come out, acknowledging that they found the reservation, which was taken by a waiter-instead of a hostess-who put it in the wrong place. After he left, I heard the waiter saying to the hostesses, seemingly like so I would hear it, that he told us he couldn’t take our reservation earlier. He seemed to forget I was standing there when he took it. Just when we thought we could finally relax and have our meal, our waiter got our order wrong. When I pointed out to him two of our Citrus and Crab Cobb salads had neither in it, he corrected me and told me that’s because the salad was a chopped salad and didn’t include those ingredients. At this point, I could only just look at him dumbfounded at his explanation, at which he looked it up in the menu, realized his mistake and went back to place our order. I also get that food will run low and you don’t have your usual chef on major holidays, but the food was dismal that day. Obviously the seafood was low, as they were out of oysters for the raw bar and lobster rolls, but they should have just owned up to the rest of the menu being low on what we wanted. When we finally got our salads, the jumbo lump Crab described in the menu was positively anemic and my mother’s $ 32 Cioppino was basically a bed of angel hair pasta with 8 pieces of shellfish(yes, we counted) and some tomato broth thrown on top. Note to Chris: You handled us beautifully throughout and thank you for comping us those salads. You deserve to work in a place where you don’t have to make endless excuses for the imbeciles you work with and subpar food. Hopefully, we’ll see you somewhere else because we’re never coming back here again, even though it’s right at our doorstep.

The food is soso, You are paying for the location. The prices are tripled. I guess if you would like to have a drink and enjoy the scenery it is worth it.

We were greeted nicely by our hostess. Waitress was courteous and explained the specials of the day to us. We ordered PO Boy sandwich comes with fries and some coleslaw and shrimp ceasar salad. These were reasonably priced. The entrees however were a little too pricey. Overall customer service and atmosphere were good. I would go back. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill for 18 percent.

This place is okay. I was disappointed that we could not sit outside, on the deck, without shoes. I mean it is a «beach bar» and it’s on a pier. Really? I guess they get by with their location. Service was attentive. Sushi was just average.

One side of menu is sushi and one side is salads, sandwiches and entrees with an emphasis on seafood items. No printed kids menu but they do offer your standards. My daughter went for the sushi though, and devoured the California roll. She ordered a tuna roll too which was basic. Husband had a bacon cheeseburger which he thought was good but not enough bacon. I had grilled mahi sandwich. The mahi was a little dry and definitely needed the tarter sauce which wasn’t anything special. The challah bread was good. Pluses: nice to sit at base of pier over water and there is some fun people watching. Service was good Negatives: pricey. They charge you to actually go on to pier, even if eating there. And since on pier people continually walked by smoking, playing music on radios, etc. parking is minimal so had to park across street at center and walk over. On whole, I’ll stick with shuckers for eating but would bring an out of guest here for a drink if I didn’t want to drive down to hollywood

I’m mixed on this place. At times I want to give it 4 stars and at other times 3. First of all the main reason to come here is for the ambiance, sitting outside overlooking the water. Though because of the pier that can be a negative as well. You get people walking by smoking even though there’s no smoking. You get people walking by with the radios blaring. If you sit in the pier area they charge you stop sit out on the pier which I think is absolutely ludicrous. The service is average. The two times I’ve gone I’ve had the same server. He’s nice, but not very attentive. The first time I went I got the Italian Beef Dip, which was awesome. First of all the sandwich was stuffed with slice beef and topped with melted provolone cheese. The description says it comes with giardinara(?), which was a joke. It was 2 large chunks of carrot and one pepper slice. They need to do finer pieces and much more of it. This time I had the bacon cheeseburger, which had two small pieces of bacon. The burger was decent, though I would get the Beef Dip in the future. My wife today got the Mahi Sandwich grilled with mashed potatoes. She got fries instead of mashed potatoes and corrected the server which he went to go get and never came back with until we had to ask again. My daughter got the California Roll and Tuna Roll sushi. My daughter and I didn’t like the Tuna Roll, but my wife found it palatable. The prices are expensive for what you get. The only thing that makes the prices somewhat acceptable is the view. However, in the future we would like choose Shuckers over the Beach Bar.

Okay so… I am disappointed to say that my experience here was just OK solely because of the crummy service this restaurant has to offer. The service is pathetic. We had Raquel as our server and she had zero personality whatsoever throughout the ENTIRE meal until she delivered the bill(typical bad server behavior) at which time she flashed us a half hearted smile and said«have a good day». And do you know why she didn’t even bother trying with us at all? Because the restaurant has an automatic 18% gratuity added to every single bill. She was slow, not friendly at all, didn’t speak english very well, and disappeared constantly. Giving all of your employees an automatic 18% gratuity is ridiculous. She didn’t even try. I always tip well as long as my server is attentive and friendly! That’s all it takes! That being said… The seating is literally ON the ocean(which is difficult to find in Miami for some reason). The water is crystal clear and there’s a great breeze coming off thewater and the tables are shaded. The food was good. I had a burger which was great. My wine was also very good. If only the service was good, than I could have given this place 5 stars.

Update 5⁄16: Food came, it’s alright. sushi is good, shrimp were ehh. Manager brought the food over, expressed my issue and they comp’d my drink… Update 5⁄18: Was starving so I came back to give it another try. I came at 11:30am, was seated prompted and a waitress came pretty fast. A completely different experience from the first where the service wasn’t ideal. But the waitresses name was Jasmine, very friendly, attentive and helpful. The Buffalo Wings Im sure were microwaved. The other dishes were cool, nothing spectacular but I cant complain too much this time. I suppose my last visit was an isolated incidence. I leave tomorrow so the question is would I come back to dine here??? Yes, mainly for convenience.

This is my favorite spot in all Miami. First of all, it’s literally on the ocean on a pier. The food is amazing! Good music. They have sofa cabanas outdoors going out to the pier, indoor/outdoor bar, sushi bar, raw bar, huge screen tv’s to watch the games. They even have a cart that sells beers on the pier. Definitely a Miami spot worth checking out.

There are many positive things about this place. It is located in of the best locations in South Florida«The pier in Sunny Isles». In the hearth of Sunny Island with the most incredible view. When it comes to the service, it was very professional and the food was good. Frankly, I had a good time after a few drinks and a day of madness. My wife and I had 4 really good Strawberry Martinis while enjoying the basketball game. I really enjoyed the conch fritters and also the presentation. I had a New York Strip Steak with potatoes au gratin and pigeon peas rice. The best potatoes au gratin that I had in a long time. However, when the check came, believe me, I was surprised. This is no joke. It was all dollar $$$$ bills. It is an expensive place to dine in. If you are thinking about going to this place, bring 2 wallets to pay that bill. I forgot to mention the valet. There’s no parking around the pier and your only option is to valet in the hotel«Newport hotel» for more than $ 20.

Easy seating. Sat on the pier and had amazing view of the beach. Service was ok, food was decent. Portion was a good size for the price. Not anything fancy here but just a convienent place off the beach. We had the seafood dishes and a dozen blue point oysters for $ 24 a dozen and it taste fresh and good. All in all not bad.

Nice location on the pier in beautiful Sunny Isles. A great place to get drinks and hang out. The seafood, oysters, and the Double Down 2 sushi roll were very good. My friend had a steak that was so so. Lastly, it was my friends birthday and even though they knew and we spent hundreds of dollars, they did nothing to recognize it. Overall I would come back.

Great location, only decent food. I ordered the ahi tuna burger and the flavor just wasn’t all that great, plus it could be jazzed up a bit for $ 17 — maybe slaw, ginger, avocado — something to make it stand out. My friend ordered the regular bacon cheeseburger and raved over it and my drinks were well made which is saving the rating on this. If it weren’t for the location and the friendly bartender I probably wouldn’t be back. Parking is also a struggle if the small lot outside is full.

This place was something that north miami really needed! A very cool, modern style pier restaurant for people to hang out by the beach and have a great time while eating nice food and not only burgers and fries. We love how having early dinner here lets you see the fishermen going to the end of the pier while you have a beer and some sushi! THEFOOD is nice, we always have sushi and it is not bad at all, my favorite dish though is the angel hair pasta with clams and shells, absolutely delicious! Also the mussels are super yummy! The desserts not so much though, they need a better offer, and the service is a tad slow sometimes without even been full. Overall a very good experience having dinner indoors or out by the sea and with a really nice ambience that music compliments at night!
