Dinner was ok but the place was dead. We did go between 4 and 5 pm but completely dead. I thought people would start coming in at 430 – 500 even the older set… Nothing. The meal was ok. No specials just what was on the menu. A little overpriced and ive had better. Good things were good service in table clearing and keeping things moving. Maybe it was this particular day?

A traditional Italian restaurant for more years than one can remember. Food is good as is the service, the prices are reasonable.

Great lively place. They apparently have a piano player Friday and Saturday nights, which was cool. Food was great, service was good, and the staff are all exceedingly friendly. Definitely will be back.

Had family in town and decided on Dazie’s for a nice Italian meal. My roommate and I had already been to a handful of other Italian restaurants, so we wanted to give them a shot. What we had: –Vodka Penne [Excellent] –Lobster ravioli special [mouth watering good] Can’t recall what my guests had, but I’m sure it was filled with a little wiz-bang-wow! Overall, great, fancy, private atmosphere. Would give 5-stars if I didn’t think think it was mob infused.

My local Special Occasion restaurant. Delicious food, good wine list, talented bartender, and really excellent ambiance and service. They go out of their way for special occasions — I’m reminded of Valentine’s Day, when the whole restaurant was decked out in red, and the Maitre D’ handed me a single red rose at the door to hand to my date. They take reservations, including same-day, and I’ve never had trouble getting one. I’ve never had bad luck with anything I’ve ordered, but standouts include the pesto gnocchi and the Chicken a la Napoli and Chicken Martini. Speaking of which, they don’t make a bad martini martini either. Highly recommended.

Love Dazies! People come from everywhere to come to Dazies, I’m lucky I live here. Always consistent. Always traditional elegant food, wine experience. So romantic. The maitre’ takes care and makes everyone feel special.

I dined for the first time at Dazie’s to celebrate my son’s 30th birthday. I only learned of Dazie’s recently from a page in a Queens theater program and something about it gave me a good feeling. So glad I trusted my instincts! The four of us started with 2 nice eggplant rollatini appetizers, followed by entrees of grilled bronzino, cappellini primavera, fettucine alfredo and dijon salmon. Everything was excellent and perfectly cooked! The desserts were delicious, especially my crème brûlée. The service and attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambience. We all look forward to returning.

I give this restaurant a five. I go to this restaurant every year for a client luncheon. The food and service is always excellent. Today I had the linguini with clams yummy. The bread and butter is so good. The salad has a great dressing. Love it and recommend it.

I been coming here for years and I’m surprise I have never reviewed. Everything here its really good from the appetizers all the way to dessert. The restaurant is a little old fashion and the prices are steep for Sunnyside but the quality of the food is worth it. My favorite dishes here are the spinach salad, chicken martini, chicken francese, Dijon salmon and cheesecake. Everything on the menu is delicious however the above things are my ultimate favorite. The service here is excellent and they have a good selection of wine. They also have a room on the side for private parties.

Wanted to like this place since I’ve thought about eating here for years and somehow just got around to it but… The service is wonderful. Water refilled timely, bread brought, plates cleared, courses brought out spaced well. Owner stops by to say hello and offered on the house after dinner drinks too. Food is average, prices are high. We had strachiatella soup, cold antipasto, chicken scarpariello and rigatoni vodka. House wine was decent at $ 8 per glass and restaurant is decorated seasonally. Husband feels that he doesn’t need to go back. So I guess we’ll try other old school Italian restaurants instead.

Food and service was excellent at Dazies Italian Restaurant. Central location in Queens, right off the 7 Train Subway line. I had the«Cavetelli alla Dazies»(meatballs, sweet sausage, and tomato sauce) pasta dish and it was very flavorful and filling. Would recommend for family gatherings and business meetings.

What an amazing neighborhood spot. The prix fixe is an amazing deal, Sinatra on the speaker, the service is completely warm and attentive and the ambience feels old school Italian. Loving Dazie’s!

I can’t speak for their service since I’ve only had delivery. But I’ve had the penne ala vodka, the bolognese and the chicken florentine and they’ve all been great.

I was very surprised to find that this place served good Italian food. Dating someone who is 100% Italian… you learn very quickly what is good and what is not. I ordered the tortellini a la nonna and it was delicious this is definitely a place I would bring the parents to. I was just a little disappointed I wasn’t offered a desert menu. I can’t imagine that don’t :-/

I’m in love with this place. As soon as you walk in, you’re in an upscale environment that’s at the same time very cozy. I personally have eaten the bruschetta, tortellini alla nonna, chicken martini, chicken napoli, the chocolate mousse and the pollo francese and all have been INCREDIBLE. I especially love the chicken alla napoli mmmm! This is by far my favorite place to eat in Sunnyside. The after dinner drinks here are great as well and we often get a shot of limoncello before we leave which is the cherry on top. If you haven’t been here yet, you must go!

I have been wanting to try this palce for a while as several people said it was great. Not in my experience. It’s not good when the free bread and coffee after dinner are the best parts of a meal. The clams appetizer was ok, a little too much breading but not terrible. The asparagus had too much cheese, it was swimming in cheese, other wise it too was ok. The pasta with seafood entrée was pretty bad, out of the can tasting marinara sauce, way undercooked pasta(it needed 2 or 3 more minutes to even be considered al dente). The seafood(shellfish mostly) was fine but nothing special. My wife’s chicken martini was bad. It tasted like it was accidentally smoked after it was cooked. The décor is a bit cheesy, lots of Sopranos style columns, etc. Service was good. Music on the stereo was good. Wine was good as well. There is a piano player but he wasn’t there on this night, would go back for a drink and to listen to music but definitely not to eat.

We came here the other night in search for something different in Sunnyside. I heard the piano player and had to check it out. The drinks were avg. but is it a pretty cool place to have a drink, chat and listen to the music. Maybe I will go to dinner here at some point.
