I have used their drop off service several times and they always been cordial and remembered me. However, I notice that some articles of clothing were not being returned. I decided to try them one more time. When I told them about it they said, «I would take a look but it has been some time. We will see you on pick up.» I asked if he would like to know what the articles were… he brushed me off.(At this time he did not know what he was even«looking» for.) When I had returned to pick up, no mention of the missing articles were discussed. And on top of that, more was missing. I have now lost 2 pairs of shorts, 2 tank tops, a sweatshirt, and a bra. I know it was not a smart choice to go back where my clothing has been taken. But I felt as a recurring customer, they would be more apologetic. I will no longer be using this laundry service.

The most friendliest & caring laundromat ive ever been to! The couple owns the establishment & they know who u r the first time u come. They always try to make sure everyone leaves w their belongings they came in(for i know ive witnessed incidents elsewhere which people had lost their stuff after leaving for 20−30mins& the attendants at other places dont pay attention to who takes what out) BUTNOT this place! They always r very attentive to who puts things & where. Ive even left my three down pillows in the dryer n totally forgot about them one day! I didn’t realize it until a few hours later after i had left this laundromat! I ran there n saw the owner had put my pillows aside! Thank goodness bc they were very expensive down pillows! They even give u free plastic bags when u forget to being back the empty laundry bags to take left over clothes in the dryer! Totally recommend!

Great little place on 41st and queens blvd right near the 7 train. Have been going here for a few months and am very satisfied. Reasonable prices and quick turnaround on dry cleaning. Prices have stayed the same– knock on wood. Very friendly Asian couple.

Very reliable, well priced drop-off laundry service. Clothes come out clean and folded, as one would expect which is a good thing. The wife/husband(I think?) do not speak enough english for a conversation, but just enough to know exactly what you need for your dry-cleaning. They are extremely nice, and attentive. As George B. pointed out, they know their customers and is definitely a good thing.

The sign outside of this small establishment just says ‘Laundromat’ and there’s a neon sign to announce the hours of business for drop-off. Really, if you don’t walk along 41 Street, you really won’t even know it’s there, but plenty of locals certainly do. Hong Guang offers a small number of washers: 9 double, 7 triple and one large capacity, all front loading machines. Cost is about average, $ 1.50 for double and $ 2.50 for triple, and the 14 available dryers are 25 cents for 8 minutes. As I tend to do my laundry in the early morning(I’m talking about 7:30) or after work(coincidentally about 7:30,) I rarely have a problem finding available machines. Of course, they offer drop-off service and dry cleaning is also available, but I can’t say what they charge as I use Ms. Buffy’s organic cleaning services in midtown. There is a man and woman who tend this establishment, usually just one during off-hours and both at busy times. Although I haven’t gotten into any lengthy conversations with them, both are very nice and they know many of their clients, which is a good sign. If you’re new to the area and this laundry happens to be on your block, give it a shot, regardless if you drop off or do it yourself.
