I’ve had the pizzas, hamburgers, and chicken burgers. Very good and prepared. I don’t drink IPAs so I can’t judge the brews. The atmosphere is very nice with a large stone fireplace. They also have a banquet room that’s very nice for private parties.

This is probably one of two restaurants here in Sunnyside that is actually nicely decorated and clean in the inside ! The service I’ve received the few times I’ve been here has been A1 ! The better items are the creative ones, the salads the seafoods the nice entrees all really good and full of unique flavors. The not so delicious was the typical stuff like the soups(dumpling soup in a clear broth not creamy sauce???) sandwiches(old bread, only lil dab of mayo) and for some reason the ribs were so bland dry and flavorless. But I just know not to order those things again. What you HAVE to try is the fried calamari, in artichoke/pepper mixture with this delicious aioli. My mouth waters just talking about it.

First and foremost I want to rave about the amazing service my boyfriend and myself had the pleasure of experiencing at this beautiful restaurant all thanks to our server Brandi today for lunch. She went out of her way to accommodate us and that we won’t soon forget! We were hard core craving French Dip and with limited service in this area we weren’t sure where to stop. We saw this restaurant on the ‘food night right’ sign on the highway and decided to take a risk. At any rate, they had French dip and we really enjoyed it! Definitely fulfilled our cravings and our empty stomachs. The place was very clean, I haven’t seen such a clean restaurant in… Like ever! The overall experience definitely deserves the full five stars!

Good food and good service. Fiancé and I go there quite often and we aren’t big beer drinkers but it’s good food. Waffle fries are a favorite! I like their pizzas and burger too.

Went for lunch on Memorial Day. It took almost an hour for our meals to arrive. The restaurant was not crowded. Not sure if they had an inexperienced cook or maybe they were unhappy to be working on a holiday. The food was not very impressive. Hamburger looked like it was cooked the day before and just reheated. Waffle fries were greasy. Buffalo sliders were just OK. Overall we were all very unhappy and will not be returning. We were really hoping for a good place to eat in Sunnyside but Snipes Mountain is not it. Also overpriced.

The place is huge an built like a rustic log cabin. We’d been warned that the service can be slow, but ours was pretty fast. Beer is outstanding. We ordered a Brown and an IPA, both of which were world-class. Prices are expensive; more than I would’ve expected. Salads generally were $ 14-$ 18. For that price, we decided to order Tri Tip Steak, which was $ 19.95 and included two sides. Our waitress said we could choose any of the sides with the meal. There is a listing of sides, but it’s confusing, since some of the sides say +$ 1 with entrée, despite our waitress saying we could have any side we wanted. We both got the wedge salad, which was super fresh and tasty. My wife got mashed potatoes, which she said were great. I got sauteed asparagus, which was also very good. The steaks were amazing, although, we both ordered medium-rare, and her’s came out well done and mine came out rare; they were tasty nonetheless. However, when the bill came, we were charged $ 1 each for the salad. We asked the waitress, who was new, about this, and she said that it does say the wedge was $ 1 extra. She apologized and said she’d take it off the bill. She then came back and said her manager would not take the salad off the bill because it stated right on the menu that it was $ 1 extra. We weren’t going to cause a stink over $ 2, but we do wish it was worded a bit better on the menus. Regardless, the food was very good, the beer was outstanding, and the service was faster then the locals had said it’d be. We’d go back for the beer, for sure. They were doing growler fills of their Brown for an amazing $ 6.25!!! We’d go back for the food if we were looking for entrees, but probably not for a quick bite, as the prices are a bit much.

Good food paired with good beer. The wait staff can be slow when it gets busy so the bar is recommended.

«I ate it I’ll rate it», very open ski lodge feel the service is good but slow. Place is never full. They have pretty roomy booths and tables. Their Cezar Salad with Grilled chicken is super. Their Prime rib is well enough get the thick cut its best, crispy salad but small. The restaurant is Very open to special requests. I had fresh strawberries w whip cream instead of fruit with whip cream. Their Brie Appetizer is great but ask for more dipping hard bread. Their fish and chips are good with a decent amount of cod in batter.

Service was really … really slow. There were plenty of empty seats so no reason for it to be slow. Just an inefficient back of the house. The waitress was very nice and profusely apologetic. Nice young lady. That is the bad news. The good news… really nice brew pub setting with a nice build out. The food was a large portion with excellent quality. Just really, really slow.

Beer was great(our favorites were the IPA and the Coyote Moon brown). Food was tasty(we got the chicken pesto with Alfredo and side salad for sides). Our server was great, considering he seemed totally swamped the whole time. It was obvious he was working really hard. They seemed understaffed for the number of tables they had and they seem to be using a 1980s push button cash register system that isn’t doing them any favors. But he was friendly and tried to engage with us as much as he could.

Most of the previous reviews have it nailed — the food is mediocre at best. Food was OK, but not great. It appears to be the only new building in town, so that may be why it attracts so many diners, but we would have enjoyed a take-out from one of the many Mexican taquerias more. My husband had nachos — they looked terrible and tasted only marginally better. My smoked salmon-penne-asparagus dish was unusual at best.

Nice, spacious building with large parking lot. Service is prompt and very good. Friendly staff. They had eight tap handles when I visited. Food was typical of a Northwest brew-pub. The quality of the beer is worth the trip.

Friendly service, and they offer tastes of their house made brews. The IPA was great. The food was so so. They were out of a number of beers and dishes. A rustic, about as upscale as you’ll find but that is relative to the area. As mentioned I. Other reviews, come for the beer.

Snipes Mountain makes some delicious beer. I thought their session IPA was my favorite offering at the Cask Beer Festival last year and when I found it on tap at Naked City Taphouse and Pipers Creek, I just had to get some. I came to the microbrewery yesterday and just had to get a pint. They didn’t have the session IPA but instead the regular IPA which is just as good, if not better. I had the chicken Caesar salad because I had a long drive home and didn’t want to be too full. I thought the chicken on it was ok. If I were to come here again I would have to try something else. But the main event here isn’t the food but the beer. If you find yourself at Sunnyside or find Snipes offerings at your favorite pub… drink it. Zipzap Zubidy Bop!

If management here put the same effort into the restaurant as they do with the beer, they’ll have a real winner. Unfortunately, this is further complicated by the fact that Snipes seems like they’re also stuck with being the closest thing to fine dining destination in town. From what I understand here, Snipes is a legitimate brewery. After trying their nicely balanced Pale Ale, I can confirm that. And it’s a GREAT value: $ 12 a pitcher! The beer is probably the best part. The second best part is the facility. It’s a very large, appealing open log lodge-style space. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Remember my part about the«fine dining destination?» We made the mistake of coming on a Friday. There were at least two large parties there at the same time, one downstairs and one up. Apparently, they ate all of the baked potatoes :( While the servers almost kept up, I think the kitchen was overloaded. Speaking of service, the hostess gave my kids coloring menus. Where are the crayons? Found them in on the hostess stand as we left. Duh. Our waitress was just OK, but a party next to us was being ignored, so they asked the beertender to come over and take their order. Our beer came out fast, but I think our food took about 40 minutes. What made it worse is that no explanation was offered. Something like, «sorry guys, but the kitchen is slammed with two large parties, but I’ve asked them about your food» would have been nice. We were literally a minute away from paying for our beer and leaving. Wife had the buffalo chicken salad, which was a nice portion… basically a whole buffalo chicken appetizer on top of greens! I had the fried oyster special, which was surprisingly good. In lieu of the baked potato, I had mashed, which was a lot less greasy than I expected. The other side was probably pre-frozen Asian-style vegetables covered with some white goo. Yuck. How can you screw up steamed vegetables? FYI– the only vegetarian option is a Boca Burger, which I had a home in the freezer… no thanks. Should have stuck with the Unilocal ratings and gone to the Green Olive right next to our hotel. It was a coin toss and I felt like we lost.

Without a doubt, the beer is the most outstanding feature here. The beer menu changes periodically, and there are always interesting selections available. The porter, Coyote Moon, & Sunnyside Pale Ale are available year-round & terrific, as is the IPA. There are some terrific other brews from time to time, like a Brown Ale & an ESB. The food is middling. The burgers are OK, but not outstanding, which sums up most of the offerings. If the prices were 15−20% lower, I’d have a more positive review. The restaurant itself is spiffy; log building with a large stone fireplace. Service is hit-or-miss. There are some real professionals here, who do a great job, pay attention to customers, and do a great job. Others just aren’t A-listers. And I have had some dreadful service here, although not in the past two years. Snipes is a great place for a drink & an appetizer, OK for a quick bite. Probably not the best place to have a special meal for an anniversary or birthday.
