This humble little restaurant throughly blew me away. My husband and I stopped in as we were hungry & tired of the ho-hum Mexican restaurants around town & we were very happy with the result. I hadn’t been to a good taqueria in so long. Their sopes were amazing, tacos were well priced and delicious(& set up to add whatever fixings you want — not pre-made toppings). Their asada is some of the best I’ve had — smoky, tender, & flavorful. Now rice is the biggest complaint I have at Mexican restaurants. It’s usually bland & unimpressive after my friend’s family spoiled me with theirs. The rice here is very good; well-seasoned. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. We’ve made a few return trips and been just as pleased with the food. Excellent taqueria.
