So when Denise L reviewed this Amazon Locker location last month, her picture showed the locker painted in a cheerful bright orange. I made a pickup here today and found the locker’s color had turned into a dreary gray( ). Maybe the locker(his name is Jojo, by the way) is sad because nobody uses him. Seriously, most people I talk to have no idea about this Amazon service that silently rolled out in the Bay Area in July of last year. Is Jojo really a «him»? It’s pretty much a unisex name. Well one thing’s for certain: Jojo is probably not female, since a female would have better fashion sense than to wear an ugly concrete gray color! Despite have the blues(or the grays?), Jojo still faithfully performs his job as a delivery and storage locker for packages sold or fulfilled by Amazon. Packages bought from a third party through Amazon are not eligible for delivery to a locker. Eligible packages also have a 10 lb limit and must be be less than 11.8×11.8×11.8 inches in size. As always, when a package is delivered to a locker, Amazon will email you a code. Punch(not literally, please) that code into the touchscreen display at the locker, a door will open, and there’s your stuff! Easy peasy! Due to the new paint job, the individual lockers no longer have numbers printed on them, but it’s not difficult to find the right one since only one will be open. Jojo lives in a 7-Eleven that’s open 24⁄7. So go ahead, order some more stuff from Amazon and pay lonely Jojo a visit. It’ll make his day. Just remember that once your package is delivered, you’ll have three weekdays to pick it up before it gets returned to Amazon. If that happens Jojo will be sad, and surely you don’t want that, right?

You mean now I can live my life and know my goods are safe and sound? Awesome! Too many times we have all worried about one or all of the following: A) The shipping company might leave my package outside on my doorstep, available for all to access. B) Even worse — They might NOT leave my package, meaning I don’t receive it on time, even though it technically arrived on time. C) Did I completely miss the delivery? I won’t know if it was delivered or not unless I log into the Amazon order tracking page. Worry no more! They deliver straight to an Amazon Locker near you — you get to choose the most convenient location. When your package has arrived, you will receive an email/text with a special code. You go to the Locker and enter the code. Voila! There’s your shiet right there. The only downside is they can only deliver a package that is under 10 pounds and fits within a square of 11.8″ cubic inches. Wait… so I CAN’T receive my new pony in this Amazon Locker? That’s some BS!
