Talk about efficiency, the food is kept out until it is finished by guests. They have saying here at Crazy Buffet,“One musn’t waste a foods” and they’re strict about it. I have to admire that type of old school thinking. Also, there’s no air conditioning because that’s also a waste of energy. I was here one time and I saw the servers load the ice cream syrup into the ice cream machine using a mop bucket. Not only do they keep an eye on their food but they also make sure they have multiple uses for their equipment. There’s a giant room in the back where you can lay down just in case you’re feeling woozy. I’d advise you to bring a pillow, a book, sweat pants, and slippers and wait until the second round of food and guests come around.

I like crazy buffet. The crab legs are hit or miss tho. Went by there today but it was closed. Chain link fence around it. Don’t know why.

The food here was really, really bad. We came in the afternoon and were really surprised to see how old the food was despite of having a decent amount of customers there. 90% of all the food were really old, stale, and dry as if it was fresh once upon a time but now is old due to it sitting out for too long. All the flavors were too intense. Some foods were salty, and some were too sweet. Some foods were so stale and hard, I can make sounds from banging it on the table. The sushi is in its own other world. Absolutely the most unappealing and worst tasting sushi I’ve ever tried. I mean, to be honest, grocery store bought sushi tastes better than the sushi they offered here. The rolls are small, limp, tasteless, and dry. The tables and chairs are very worn and old. We saw our server once after she gave us our drinks and that was it. I don’t think I will ever come back again…

This place used to be very good. It is too bad that the quality is really going way down. Need a lot of improvement.

1 star because I have to give it a star to write a review. Came to for a family lunch, and we found a dead fly in their broccoli. They did not want to give a discount or anything whatsoever, until we showed them the picture that we took. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. After reading other people’s reviews, I guess this is a norm for this restaurant. They still have not corrected this mistake. Long story short. DONOTEATHERE. I wonder how they pass their inspections.

While most of the food was edible… The taste and the food appearance has much to be desired. The Stir-Fry Shrimp and vegetables I picked was half raw(Yuk) The cook seemed too tired to cook it longer than 2 minutes. I will never visit again this joint

Service is a hit and miss. Food usually always a miss. I usually stick with the malasadas(or version of.) Lunch price is cheap esp to feed a large group.

Oh it’s crazy alright… Crazy RIDICULOUS. Lol, I just wanted to say that. Anyways I enjoyed a meal all by myself. I really only came here for the crab legs… It was terrible. Not good. A little disturbing actually. And CRAB is my favorite food.:(

Came in and had no idea how this place worked. After 20 minutes a waiter finally asked us where we wanted to sit. The whole time while waiting my mouth was just savoring the delicious smells of Chinese food. The food looked amazing! But as soon as I tried the food… I knew I had made a mistake. Chinese food and desserts that I tried were very bland and rubbery tasting. I would not recommend this place. The sushi on the other hand was decent. I would only come back if I had a craving for cheap all you can eat sushi.

Awfully over priced restaurant, and the food is not even that great. Ate here one night for dinner and I was charged for $ 16.75?! Extreme rip off! Not only that, one of the waiters kept standing next to our booth and a table of a family of 8. The two parents allowed their children to run around the restaurant and that waiter did nothing about it! Also, one of the children kept coughing and made me want to vomit my food. Thank goodness that I don’t live in the area because I will definitely NOT come back!

The food was fair, service is much to be desired. Many waiters and waitresses but none of them attentive to the customers. It was an OK experience. Cleanliness is so so but better than other Chinese buffets.

Crazy Buffet, My mother was crazy about you until you became a disappointment and broke her heart :(. This WAS my mother’s favorite buffet of all time. My sisters and I thought this buffet was quite decent than any other buffets we’ve tried around the area. Really, my sisters and I would not go anywhere else because my mother felt this buffet never measured up to this one. Unfortunately, the quality of this buffet went down the drain. Service used to be great but I feel like the workers don’t care about you anymore nor do they have smile on their faces. =/ 1 star for their fresh Unagi handrolls(i guess?) but everything else was not fresh. The environment such as the chairs, tables, utensils were dirty. not only did their prices gone up but the quality of the food just got worse. I’m sorry, I won’t be coming back here ever!

i hate this place but we come every year for my grandma’s birthday. She likes venturing off and self-serving the limitless seafood. I, however, am not a fan. The floor, chairs, tables, dishes and utensils are sticky, the food is horrible, the fruit is not fresh or is drenched in syrup(canned), the desserts are just horrible and you’d think they can at least get the soft served ice cream correct but nope. Everything is greasy and very carb-y. Mayonnaise shrimp was more like mayonnaise fried dough, just… nothing appetizing. I barely touch my plate every time I go and have to have something else to eat at home after. My presence is solely for my grandma. Don’t even think of setting foot into the bathroom. You’ll lose your urge to go. OH and last time i went, the sink was broken so I’m wondering how the employees washed their hands after doing their business… service doesn’t even make up for it even if they TRIED(which of course they did not). If you don’t mind the drive, go to Newark buffet. Their food is edible at least

I give this place a 3.5, mainly because my hubby and I have been coming to this place for a long time. We like to visit this buffet when we’re craving for dungeness crabs, snow crab legs, crawfish, clams, oysters. For the main reason, seafoods! Just a little warning on the snow crabs though, once a server puts a tray out, you can bet it’ll be gone right before your eyes! So hurry and get your hands on them ’cause they won’t be putting a new batch for another 20−30mins. The other foods are ok, but not the best I’ve tasted. There are fried rice, dumplings, soups, chowmein, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, frog legs, fried chicken, some veggies, etc. There’s a sushi area, too. I only get the California roll. The service is, well it depends. If they’re busy, you’ll probably end up trying to get a server’s attention for a refill or to clean your plates. But for the most part, I think most of the servers there are friendly. As for the price, it has gone up over the years. Our check used to be under $ 40 with tips included. Now it’s costing us more than that. I guess that’s reasonable since the cost of food these days are going up too. I would still recommend this place especially if you’re a seafood lover. You just gotta fight tooth and nail to get your hands on them! :P Btw, the bathroom is not so clean and it always has a funky smell.

I was not impressed. Normally I could give this place 1 star if I had the choice, but out of respect for the fact that my boyfriend actually liked it, I’ll make it 2. Since I have more negatives than positives, I’m starting with the cons: — DIRTY. Lots of asian restaurants are not the prettiest, but this one was bad enough where there was a termite queen in the sink of the bathroom. There was also a hair that was not mine in my fish ball soup. — Greasy. Ugh, how much oil can there be on food? — Rude service. This is particularly aimed at the person staffing the Mongolian BBQ bar that day. He was super grumpy and glared at me for asking him to add some hot chili after he was about finished cooking my order. — Pricey… for a $ 14.99 dinner, I definitely would have preferred to eat something else. Highlights: — The sashimi, crab, and oysters were surprisingly decent quality. — Good amount of selection. There’s a lot of food to choose from. Overall, I wouldn’t come back unless forced too. There are a lot of better options in the area.

Unilocal rating is accurate. It’s $ 15.99 dinner buffet, you should not expect quality. Actually there is a variety of food. Seafood, sushi, Chinese, vege, dessert, it’s very nice, but nothing is really authentic. Sushi is not for sure. The owner seems to be Chinese, but even Chinese food here is not real. For a big eater, you can be full, but once in lifetime is enough.
