You get what you pay for here — rent is super cheap for a reason. We lived here to save as much $ as we could for the monstrous down payment needed for a respectable house in the Bay Area. No where else could you get a 3 bed /2.5 bath townhouse style apt with washer/dryer hook ups where all water and garbage is included, for less than $ 1600 a month. the management is actually very responsive to fixing any problems inside the units, some of the quickest turn around time i’ve seen at any apartment complex. they also sign and hold packages for us at the office. yes the buildings are old, and you can hear the neighbor’s kids running up and down the stairs and slamming doors. a least a dozen unsupervised kids play and run around the complex, which includes«ding-dong-dash» and soccer in the street. a word of advice: do not park your car in front of the complex, your car will almost be guaranteed to be damaged by flying soccer balls. there is even a guy running a used car sales business out of the complex. sadly the residents and their children are very dirty messy people. every morning you find discarded chip bags, half eaten donuts and what other misc trash through out the complex. like i said, you get what you pay for.
