Dr. Folkers has been our family doctor for many years. We also refer all of our family and friends to him. He is very professional treating patients of all ages. We continue to see him because he is very competent, professional, and kind. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful. Eyeglasses and contact lenses are also available for purchase IF you like to buy them. Dr. David Folkers is one of the best optometrists in the area.

Dr. Folkers has been kindly, professionally, and competently caring for me and my entire family in regards to our eye needs for well over ten years now.
if asked in the past, I would always have given him a five-​star rating, but what is prompting me to write now after all of these years is the outstanding, above-​and-​beyond experience I had yesterday.
I had a massive allergic reaction around and in my eyes yesterday. Because I very foolishly (a) started using a new cleanser (b) tried a new facial mask © had a professional facial and (d) started a course in aromatherapy (!) ALL IN ONE WEEKEND, I had no idea which of these possible contributing factors blew my eyes up with massive swelling, bloodshot whites, complete with achy itchy throbbing.
Dr. Folkers listened to my tale of woe and kindly agreed to see me same day right before he closed up the office at 4:45.
Once I arrived, he gave me an exam and performed a ‘pressure test’ to check for possibly more serious problems. He dropped antihistamines in my eyes and recommended Benadryl — which for whatever reason hadn’t occurred to me.
He also put me at ease, as usual, with his warm sense of humor.
This morning I am probably 80% healed up and feeling great. Thank you, Dr. Folkers, for all you do and for the depth of your experience combined with outstanding «bedside manner».

I have been wearing glasses for several years and was very lucky to have stumbled into Dr. Folkers office when headaches forced me to admit I needed to get my eyes checked. He is professional, friendly, and one of the best eye doctors around.
