I wish I could have gave 0 stars. First and last visit to Kasish. Worst eyebrows ever

I only came here once but their prices are great and their service is great! I was pregnant when I came here and they made sure that I was comfortable throughout the waxing. They do charge additional tax but the price is still great !

Friendly staff and clean salon. They know how to thread eyebrows to suit my face and not the typical tapered style.

I had a 1:00pm and I was a couple minutes early. They told me to wait 10 mins as they were all eating. Understandable, it was lunch time and I was a little early.
I usually go to San Jose to get my legs waxed but needed something today in the Santa Clara area so I started calling around. This place was the cheapest out of all the several ones I called in the area, but I was hesitant because all of the reviews saying they demanded a tip. But then I just scheduled my appointment anyway and was actually looking forward for them to tell me they required a tip because I was definitely going to go off on them about it, I WAS SO READY! For sure was going to just pay them the cost, MY tip and walk out. LOL. BUT, they didn’t. They told me my price, as originally quoted, and I gave my own tip based on what I thought was deserved and they were very appreciative.
Now the service, they were surprisingly very thorough. They made me realize that my own wax lady is not as thorough as she should be. They definitely took their time to make sure the work was done correctly and even asked if the wax was ok and not too hot. My own wax lady has never asked me that, lol. Definitely going to go back in case I need someone in the area again, great price and great service.

I just had my eyebrows done and I REGRET IT SO MUCH!!! Stay away from this place is a hit or miss and mostly miss. Done it 2 times here the first time was a miss and the owner contact me to «fix» my eyebrows and give a better review. When I went to fix my eyebrows the second time Jyoti fixed it and did a good job, today I made the mistake of letting someone else thread my eyebrows and I HATE THE WAY IT LOOKS. I will have to deal with it until the grow out so I can go somewhere else to repair the damage. I’m seriously thinking of shaving my eyebrows off and draw it with a marker it would look better that way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I Just realized that is not worth the pain and aggravation. Even if the owner offered to «fix it» this time I would not even think about it the answer is no. If I could give minuses 5 stars I would.

The owner was very much concerned about the review and acted on it.
Based on my next few visits I wanted to update my review. The staff took particular care that I got good experience and I really appreciate for their special attention. I think they deserve better rating for improving customer experience.

The ladies who do eyebrows are not that experienced but seem to do an ok job if you keep telling them what you want. Better to let them know in advance as well.
One thing they need to work on –do NOT offer a kid a lollipop before first checking with their parents.
Many reasons parents dont want this:
1. I don’t want my kid putting something in her mouth that a stranger gives her. Its a life lesson that she needs to learn.
2. I don’t know what is the quality of the stuff you just gave her. Parents give a lot of attention to this kind of thing in this generation.
3. I don’t want to end up with a toddler with a sugar high at the wrong time of the day –when she is about to sit in the car with me for a long journey back home.
While you think its a way of attracting customers, I’m avoiding this place solely for the lollipop reason. This is my last resort place because of this unwanted lollipop –I only go there if the better places are busy and I need to get things done NOW.

Best facial ever! I have sensitive skin and was skeptical to get facial. But Kashish and her staff were very meticulous and diligent. They suggested the Hydroxy facial for my skin and even customized the pressure, etc. Also the room was very relaxing. Overall great experience. thank you very much!

First of all very rude service. Most painful threading I have ever gotten. The woman was not gentle whatsoever and rushed the entire time. I also left with half my eyebrow missing. Never going back again.

«I don’t like them thin. I want them thick. Leave them thicker than you’re used to. Don’t change the shape. Just clean up.»
Please tell me honestly if that is not clear enough. I need to know if I’m not communicating well because I thought I was.
I’ve said those phrases twice already and both times, I walk out with thin brows that I have to grow out for three to four months hoping that the next time they will leave them how I want. I guess my first visit was a fluke because it’s the only time I walked out happy. Or it’s my fault that I don’t ask for Shanaz before I go. She did them great. Where are you Shanaz?
Now I have to fill them in because they are uneven and too thin. The lady saw my brows for a minute. I see them everyday. I’m positive that when she tells me she didn’t touch the width, she is wrong.
I was unhappy and they did try to rectify the situation by having someone else at least try to make them even but at that point, I was worried I was going to end up with no brows at all.
To top it off, there was another girl complaining about the same. They left her brows too thin and that she said clean up only. Apparently «clean up» means, get the brows they want to give you.
It’s affordable compared to other places but it’s almost like getting a bad haircut when your brows aren’t done the way you hoped. The growing out stage sucks!

Its been 4 months when I searched on Google and found out that Kashish salon does have another branch. I decided to give it a shot as it is in my way to work. The minute I walked in the first thing I noticed how new and clean the place is, which is super important to me. Staff is very professional and know their work. 3 employees with whom I interacted more are super nice. Joyti, the manager does know her work and handle her employees in a very good manner. On the other hand Preeti who is very good with her facial and waxing skills and Aman is amazing with thearding. They know how to make their costumer happy. They do interact with you on personal level.
Most importantly– THEY DON’T DO GOSSIPS LIKE OTHER EMPLOYEES IN INDIAN SALONS
I definitely recommend going there. Great job guys.

Pros: Jyoti was pleasant once I met her and works extremely quickly. She did a great job on my first experience getting my eyebrows and lip threaded.
Services are ridiculously affordable. $ 10 total for both services.
Had an available appointment almost immediately available from when I called.
Clean, modest facility.
Cons: Could use a little more polish on the business side. When I called for an appointment and agreed on a time, she did not ask me for my name. When I asked for an eyebrow wax, she said she did not provide that service. In reality, what she should have said is they no longer offer eyebrow waxing. The menu picture from another Unilocaler’s post clearly showed it and it is actually still up next to the register. Strangely, she did not offer me threading and I had to ask.
Net: Now that I’ve meant Jyoti and had a pretty good experience, I’ll definitely go back-​especially at that price and how close it is to home.

Excellent customer service. Very good hygiene. Aman did my eyebrows very beautifully. Full legs and arms wAxing is $ 45 only. Very good value for money. I would definitely come here regularly. Service is very quick too. As good as khoobsurat and better price.

I have seen reviews were people have been complaining about thin eyebrows BUT I never faced this problem. They understand what you speak and they are great at their work!
