Dirty, smelly, gross. The meat section is owned by someone other than from the store, so you have to pay 2x if purchasing meat and products. The meat section has flys all over and is not clean. I wonder if the health department is even aware that they have a meat department. Doesn’t smell good, but still bought meat from there and wish i had not eaten it. Yuk. I will not go back there. They need to clean up their act and store, and offer a better smelling environment that is clean. Come on guys!!!

Great Mexican market. The spices and hot sauces alone could keep me for days. Produce, canned/packaged goods, housewares, tortillas, a butcher… almost all things you could want. Got some excellent Oaxacan cheese and tamales de elote for dinner supplements. Super tasty.

I love to buy fruits and vegetables here, good price and fresh I usually get a plastic bag for 10 cents in any store(nothing new), but one time I came here buy my favorite fruits like i often do. i got in line, 1 Spanish male in front of me, he got a water melon and couple coca-cola and carried with 2 hands. the cashier ask him if he want a bag? he: no thanks cashier: it’s FREE he: please :))))) then my turn, she charge me 10 cents like she normally does. 10 cents it’s nothing but i feel a little irritate: why Spanish customers get bag free? not Vietnamese customesr? maybe she thinks that i don’t understand Spanish, I do. i just want to share that story :((((( I still love and come to this market

I was just passing by and needed produce. SOO glad I stopped. friendly staff, fresh produce, unique items, and great prices. Of course, being a local business is a plus.

I really want to like this place. Fresh produce at unbeatable prices. Nice employees. Wide variety and selection of the season’s fruits and vegetables… all arranged to look fresh and delicious! I came here a couple of times, enticed by the produce outside of the market and its cheap prices. Both times I’ve come out disappointed by the quality of produce I got. The most recent time, I bought some nectarines, peaches, ginger, lemons and cherries. The cherries were okay, but didn’t have much cherry flavor. And the nectarine was so weird… When you bit into them, they were kind of hard and left a weird film on your tongue and teeth. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and threw the rest of them away. So sad. At 99c a pound(or 99c for four of them or something like that), I thought it was too good to be true. Alas, it was. There’s something to be said about fruit grown with hormones and chemicals vs. organic fruit. Organic fruit takes a long time to grow, but they will last a long time and have time to develop all of its flavors and deliciousness. Chemically-enhanced fruit will grow fast, but they will die fast, too. And leave a weird film in your mouth. It reminds me of a time I went to a farmer’s market(and now this is way more information than you need to know). I bought some peaches at the end of the market, and as they were closing shop, they marked down their peaches to sell as many as they could before going home. I decided to take advantage of their peach deal and got like 15 peaches for $ 5. You know how you drink peach-flavored drinks and think, «You know, peaches never REALLY taste like this»? I’m telling you, the peach tasted EXACTLY like the juicy, sweet flavored-syrup in that drink, and BETTER. All that to say, I’ve probably been ruined by quality, organic fruit. I thought I could score a good deal, but the joke was on me. I’m so sad because it’s close to my work and home. But I guess this proves that I will travel far and wide for a great fruit(in this case, a peach).
