Nails by Victor

After my first visit to Victor in August 2015, I was already handing out his business cards later that day.
He did a beautiful job on my nails, but we also talked at length all about his life, his family, and how he ended up doing nails. He’s an open and lovely person who is committed to serving others. But in addition to that, he’s artist with meticulous attention to detail.
I highly recommend him for both his work, which speaks for itself as a commitment to excellence, and his gentle, kind manner.

I have been going to Victor for over a year now. He is the best at Silk Nail application of anyone I have ever experienced. I have had silk nails for over 20 year (switched from acrylic), and no one other manicurist has been able to do what he does. They stay in place, almost never lift, and always are well shaped. I highly recommend him to my friends & family.
As of Sept 1, He has relocated to 124 Carroll Ave, Sunnyvale. Very close to previous location.

Today I went to see Victor after VARIOUS other places not being able to take me so late (7:30pm)
I called him, he wasn’t even in the shop at the moment and he actually rushed over and met me in less than 5 minutes! Now that’s dedication.
He is genuinely nice and friendly. He takes his time and is very precise… You can tell this is definitely his passion.
I brought a picture with me of almond shaped nails, and be nailed it! I love love love my nails!
He found himself a new regular customer.

Victor is the best, he actually took me late one night when I really needed my nails done before a very important meeting. He did a great job, he’s an expert.

I have been going to Victor for 20 plus years Why, because he does the best job ever on my nails. He has clients of long standing because he is professional, timely, respectful and is dedicated to keeping your nails healthy as well as looking good! Whether you are an established customer or new, he take care to provide excellent service.

I have been going to Victor on and off for about 25 years now. I say «on and off» because I live in the east bay and don’t get down to Sunnyvale much anymore. However, on occasion, I need my nails looking perfect for an event, and I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else even if it means driving 30 miles to have my nails done. Victor is the best manicurist on the planet. Look at his reviews! If you become a customer of his, you will remain a customer for life because he is just THAT good and you won’t want to try anyone else. He is meticulous in his work and is so passionate about nails and doing a perfect job every time. On top of that, he’s a super nice, friendly guy and a good man who works SO hard. In fact, I’ve known Victor so long I’d say he works harder at what he does for a living than anyone I’ve ever met. If you need your nails done, I highly encourage you to go see Victor before anyone else. You won’t be disappointed! Appointments are best, but he’ll take walk ins too.

I have been going to Victor for close to 25 years — ever since I moved to the Sunnyvale area. I have the worst natural nails and Victor understands the problem and gives me a set of nails that lasts for the traditional two-​week time frame before getting fills. Victor will let you know what your issues are and how often you should get your nails taken care of; and he takes time to get things right. He is quite popular with my former co-​workers as well. Everyone I have ever referred to him is still a customer. I agree with the other reviews that once Victor does your nails, you will not want to go to anyone else.

5 stars are not enough to rate the manicures & pedicures you get from Victor. If you want to keep your nails in great shape, stop in to see him. He does my nails every week, but I probably could go 2 weeks between manicures if I wanted to, since the polish lasts so long. When problems do crop up like a split nail, he takes his time to make sure they are permanently taken care of. When I need to get my nails done when I am out of town, I instantly notice the difference & I run back to Victor as soon as I get back home. And he’s a nice guy. He’ll be happy to have a conversation or let you zone out — it’s up to you. You can’t get a better manicure.

I have been with Victor for 30+ years. So has my mother until she moved out of state. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and the few times I have, Victor has had to correct their poor work. This is a passion of his. He takes his time and it will be well worth your wait. I have and would recommend Victor to anyone. When I have been to other nail salons with friends, the workers always comment on how good my nails look. When other salons comment, you know you are going to the right place.

Victor has been doing my nails for 28 years!!! I tried a lot of nail places before I found him, but now I would never even consider going anywhere else. I moved out of Sunnyvale a few years ago, but still make the drive from San Jose every 2 weeks – and would drive even further if I had to.
My hands are in constant view at work, and I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails. Not only do they look fantastic, Victor takes the time each appointment to make sure everything is done right. If you ask for something and he feels it isn’t right for you, he will tell you – because he wants to be sure you are happy with the results.
I’ve recommended him to a lot of my friends, and they are all converts too. Once Victor has done your nails, you’ll never want to go to another nail place again.
