This review has been a long time coming as my Family has been coming here since it opened and we love that there is a local health conscious, kid friendly restaurant nearby. Our family is vegetarian, and so we would likely not have gone into the store if they had not had an event at City Sports down the street. I’m glad they had the event, as when we first visited they had hummus, quinoa, tzatziki, and mixed vegetables as vegetarian options. The food was fresh and the staff was friendly, and Rob and Chris(owners) asked us for suggestions as we left. We mentioned that it would be nice if maybe they could add a tofu selection, and they said they would look into it… a few months later they actually added tofu to the menu! Awesome! From my perspective, the prices are reasonable, considering all the effort they must put in to buying fresh healthy ingredients(organic, non GMO, etc…), and I am very happy to have this vegetarian friendly, healthy alternative in the neighborhood

I like the food. I come here quite often. But this place seems to be dishonest. Every few months they changed something and you have to pay more. *Initially, for what I have(chicken with some rice and vegetable), it was ~8.50(w tax). *then they changed so that tips is not accepted, but the price(same dish + tax) is 9:50. *Then eventually tips(volunteer of course) is added. *Now they changed so «NOTTOOCONFUSECUSTOMERS», every one will pay the same: 10:80(since everyone will have 3 goods instead of 2 goods as what I have before). I bet in a few months, something will change again, and customers will end up paying more. until they come back to 2 goods(for 9:50) and 3 goods, I will stay away from this place. Dont tell me price of goods is getting expensive. A year a go, gas = $ 4/gal now it’s under $ 2. it’s just dishonest.

Not impressed. Food has no flavor and way too overpriced. They are cheap with the portions. Good concept but not so good execution. Not coming back :(

Go Off The Stick! Your food is awesome. All the vegetables taste like they were just picked right out of the garden! Yeah! So happy you take good care of us! This is one person who is feeling the goodness!

I got a chicken 2 item bowl, and you couldn’t make a more average meal. Only came with 4 ounces of meat and cost $ 11 dollars(also got a scoop of Tsaziki). I won’t be coming back

Truthfully, I love coming here and I ain’t saying that because I’m usually hungry either. Drop by on a Friday, and you’ll get a discount in beverages(even beer, treat yourself). O didn’t want to give just one person recognition because everybody was great.

Tried this spot today for something new and familiar at the saaame time. The menu /ordering process can be confusing, took us a good 5 minutes to figure it all out. If you choose a «Fit bowl» then you get two«goods» and a protein, I’ll break it down for you. — If you’re choosing a «good»(side) from the energy tree, you choose one thing, i.e. rice, brown rice, potato.(counts as one«good» /side) — If you choose a «good» from the salad tree i think you can pick any of the below listed items, organic greens, chopped romaine, onion, quinoa tabouli, fresh greek.(build your own salad with all those items if you like, counts as just one of your«goods») — If you choose a good from the veggies tree then you can pick three of any of the following and that will count as one«good»: broccoli, peppers & onions, zucchini, mushroom, grilled tomato, green beans. SO after figuring all that out, I ordered The lamb(meatballs), with white rice, and grilled zucchini, onions & peppers(they were out of grilled tomato or woulda also had that), then added a huge dollop of hummus for $ 1.50 topped with garlic herb and tahini sauces. I think it came to about $ 13.xx after tax. The lunch was pretty good, would definitely go with the grilled beef next time though as it’s actually beef chunks. When i ordered the lamb I didn’t know it was lamb meatballs until they spooned it on top already, because some pictures on Unilocal are of lamb chunks, this was disappointing. In conclusion i’ve gotta say if this place was anywhere but Sunnyvale I’d go back, but with dish n dash around the corner(and closer to my work) for same price it can’t compete. The concept is too similar to dish n dash who executes the pick and choose lunch better. If this place is closer to you then give it a try for sure, it’s not bad. 3.5 stars — round up to 4 for friendly service and that nice dollop of hummus, minus points for the lamb trickery.

I didn’t have any expectations going in, but this place is legit! Ordering can be overwhelming at first, but it’s like Chipotle when you order at counter. I tried the roasted potatoes(SO good), green salad mix, two proteins of chicken and the tofu. Added some tzazicki sauce(too big of scoop), but SO good! Best of all, they are going to open one in Downtown Campbell!!! Happy dance! Don’t be afraid of long lines, it actually goes fast.

Have been to this place two times as they are right next to my work; once in early 2015 and once in November 2015. The food definitely does have a very«healthy» taste to it and is quite yummy. I think they have a good selection to choose from and the staff are all super friendly. However, they have really increased prices and started controlling portions like crazy. I went last week(November 2015) and noticed that they had a food scale to make sure you don’t get an ounce of extra food! My chicken bowl with 3 goods was ~$ 12 and my friend got a tofu bowl with 2 goods for $ 10; would definitely add up pretty quickly if this is your usual lunch place. My work has also catered from them once(so I guess that means they do cater + delivery?). Normally when we have catered meals, there are always a ton of leftovers that get put in the kitchen. But the catered meal from Off the Stick had no leftovers — either this means the food was so good that people came back for seconds/thirds OR portions were too small. Also, the food seems so healthy that you definitely will not leave in a state of food-coma.

This place opened up near my work and people started talking about it. I finally tried it and in general the food is pretty good, especially the hummus with the garlic sauce on it. The reason for my low review is that the prices are very high and each subsequent time I have gone there the portions have gone down. The last few times I have gone I have just ordered«goods» since the meat is so expensive. $ 5.00 for two ounces of cubed steak. Their meat is not worth $ 40 a pound. I always ordered the hummus and mixed vegetables. This last time I went in I asked for my usual in a bowl and the guy behind the counter took a two ounce ladle of hummus and touched it to my bowl which put a dollup of hummus in my bowl. I then asked him if I could get just a little more(half the hummus was stuck to the ladle) at which point the employee told me that the«standard» portion was a ladle full. I didn’t point out to him that the ladle he had just used to put hummus in my bowl was still over a third full. To his credit he did give me just a little bit more but I shouldn’t have to go through that sort of grief for a fair portion especially considering their prices. Despite liking their hummus and garlic sauce I don’t intend to ever go back. It’s just not worth the money.

I’ve eaten bowls from OTS twice now, and attempted to get a third one tonight just to see if they were still okay. The meats are just okay, a bit dry and lacking in flavor; the rice and grilled veg are good, though. The juices were okay – juice isn’t the healthiest thing(mmm, fruit sugar water), but it’s a nice alternative to soda or something. Tonight, though, I couldn’t get my bowl. I ordered through Seamless at 4pm for delivery between 5:00 and 5:20 pm. At 5:30, I called the shop to make sure there was no problem finding my place – they were«waiting on meat.» At 5:45, I tried to call again, but got no answer. At 6, I got in contact with Seamless to cancel the order, because I have to leave to go to a meeting. Nice. I don’t think I’ll give them another chance.

Ridiculously overpriced. There is no reason I should be paying $ 15 for a pita with beef, lettuce and hummus in it. The food was decent, but worth about half the price. Also, there is an annoying guy in a safety vest who tells you not to park in the Bank of America spots, even when you are not parked in a Bank of America spot. Thanks Buddy.

Wonderful place if you’re a big FOB like me and love kabob! I come here for lunch at least one time a week. They could be a little cheaper, hence minus one star. Otherwise the food is great, fresh and healthy! The workers are always peppy and nice. They also have fresh juices/teas if you are totally healthy-fying it up.

This place was my go to for lunch because everything was cooked well and fresh. The food prep area was really clean, well stocked and I could see the turnover on food, especially the chicken, was quick. The service was always quick and pleasant. I think it’s been under new management for the last few months. The last few times I went in, the prep area was sloppy with different meat drippings, yogurt sauce and hummus splashes everywhere, and there was a wait to get one of the salad options. The chicken pieces were smaller, less juicy and didn’t look or taste grilled because they were sitting in the drippings. I’ll pass.

I would say mediocre food for a mediocre price. Chicken was dry and the placement of the food in the to go dish was extremely sloppy, which made it even more unappetizing. Good thing Door Dash was late with the delivery so I was really hungry and didn’t care at that point. Don’t think I would order to go service from here and not sure if it’s worth the trip to the actual restaurant.

I hate to leave a three star review for a fast casual place I’ve enjoyed in the past. Recently, the service and food quality has not been up to their old standards. When this place first opened, I really enjoyed their concept of picking a protein and two/three«goods». All the meats were delicious, including the chicken marinated in olive oil and the lamb kabobs. The freshly made hummus was also tasty, and their free sauces rounded out the meal for a refined dish not typically found at a fast casual establishment. Recently, the food has been less than stellar. The meats are dry(and look like they have been sitting for quite some time), the sauces are bland, and the rice/salad tastes old. The employees are still friendly, but they aren’t nearly as passionate as when they opened. During my most recent visit, they were hesitant to grill additional meat. I love the concept and the original food quality, but I just can’t justify paying high premiums(this place is very pricey compared to Chipotle) for mediocre food and service on a regular basis.

This place has gone downhill fast! When they first opened, I was excited about the concept of a mediterranean fast food joint. At first their menu was confusing, but I got the hang of it. Recently though, they’ve changed the way their menu is setup, and even though it’s the same, it’s even more confusing. My most recent trip I got tofu with«2 goods», which was salad and hummus. The bowl was the size of my hand and it cost me $ 9.24. Are you serious? This is the biggest ripoff ever. Mediocre hummus and a handful of Costco bagged greens, plus a 1⁄3 cup of meh tofu does for equate to almost $ 10 of food. The place is noisy, hot, and crowded. Their line cooks are slow, and there is one person checking everyone out. So while you stand there staring at your food, you have to wait for the 6 people in front of you to pay so you can leave. Hire more people or something, that is crazy for a lunch time rush. After half a dozen times giving them the benefit of the doubt of being«new», I will not be back, which is a real shame.

Great concept. I like the transparency of what is in their sauces & marinades and the overall healthy/nutritional based food with all the delicious Mediterranean flavors. Mo and me order to go from Caviar with delivery to his office. I got the 2 Good with lamb, Spring mix, grilled veggies. Mo got the 2 Good with steak, double grilled veggies(paleo style). And unfortunately since we are still on Whole30 only 1 of the sauces is compliant. No regrets though b/c the herb garlic sauce was delicious and went great with the food. My 2 negatives and reason why this is 3 stars and not 4 is that there was quinoa mixed throughout my spring mix making it impossible to pick out… And Mo had specifically stated NO quinoa since we both aren’t eating any type of grains. My second compliant being for $ 13 and some change I would expect a bit more lamb. Anyways the flavors here are on point and I’m glad we tried here! We will be back again I’m sure.

Definitely worth the money. People stop complaining about the«over priced meat» It’s Silicon Valley, you can afford it, ANDHEY, ITSORGANICANDFRESH. Go to Mcdz if you want cheap. I give this place 5 stars because the meat is so fresh and juicy, and the staff is always welcoming and kind! The owner Chris is sooooo kind!!! I work for City Sports & he is always helping the employees out! Go to OFFTHESTICK!

Looked up ‘organic’ on Unilocal & found this place while I was waiting for paperwork for buying a car. Delicious! I had fresh watermelon juice with my meal of veggies, quinoa, half taziki/half hummus with lamb and I tried the herb sauce & hot sauce. YUM! One of the owners helped me with my decision on what to get and you can really tell how passionate they are about nutricious, healthy, tasty food! I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back next time I am in Sunnyvale. The only downside is that it was $ 30+ for 2 people’s meals and drinks. A little pricy in my opinion, but worth trying — so tasty!!!
