Me and my buddy went here for lunch and ordered a 12″ Sunset Beach pizza and they gave us a 12″ sausage. When I told them that it’s not what we ordered the girl at counter said that it was my own fault and all she can do is to make us a Sunset Beach Pizza but I have to pay for it. I’ve worked at Papa Johns pizza for two years and never charged a costumer for a pizza they did not order or did not wanted. Come on Pizza My Heart, you make really good pizza and I had always been a fan but please teach your employees to apologize when they screw things up

There’s something awesome about buying pizza by the slice. It’s for people who want variety, who don’t want to wait, and for those of us who have poor self control and would probably gorge on a whole pizza if given the chance. I tried their Hawaiian, which they heated up but needed re-heating by the time I got home(15 minutes later). Pizza was thin and not too oily. The slices are pretty huge, so you won’t leave hungry. My only major gripe was the crust. It was hard and dry and flavorless. As someone who actually eats the crust, rather than leave a bunch of husks on the plate, having a sub-par crust was a huge disappointment.

Good pizza, salads, atmosphere and the folks who serve me are helpful and courteous, which equals ‘wonderful’ in my book! In between football playoffs, it’s time to head down for a slice(lots and lots of choices!) right now.

I’ve actually been to this Pizza My Heart multiple times, yet didn’t bother to write a review until now. As is not uncommon with some of my reviews, I’ll begin with a history lesson. Juxtaposed between a men’s grooming/haircut place and a Rubio’s, this Pizza My Heart is located in what I consider to be a really nice shopping center. Sometime approx. 5 – 10 years ago, some major remodeling and renovation took place. On the land where this Pizza My Heart currently sits(among the seven other places that occupy the same piece of land in the shopping center), there once was, if I remember correctly, a Firestone drive-thru auto repair/oil change facility. It was razed and, in its place, the current stores/eateries that occupy the same land were built. Now that the history lesson is out of the way, let’s go over the place itself. Facts: * There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is also there for people who dine at the at the other eateries nestled in the area — Five Guys, Panera, Pinkberry and Rubio’s. * Like any other Pizza My Heart, there are a variety of pizzas to choose from and most people get individual slices. There are a number of drinks to choose from too and they sell the famous Pizza My Heart shirts as well. * If the pizza you want has already been made, they can heat if up for you if you choose. * They don’t allow any alcohol purchases to be taken outside. Pros: + My two maui zowie slices on my recent visit were pretty damn good. Pizza My Heart really is the only chain pizza place that I patronize. I don’t go to Round Table or Domino’s or Pizza Hut or places like that. + Prices are not cheap but not ridiculously expensive either. You get what you pay for, plain and simple. + I asked if they had any of their white t-shirts in stock, as I had outgrown my old one. The cashier went ahead and pulled one out for my size and didn’t even charge me for it since I had ordered two slices. Cons: — As tasty as my pizza has always been, the two slices from last night were a bit too, let’s just say, flimsy. 4 stars

I have to say that Pizza My Heart has set such a high standard for all other pizzas out there as far as flavor. It’s soooo delicious and toasty! And as far as hospitality and service it is people like Daniela that make this location in Sunnyvale super successful! She is all smiles and talks to you with such politeness and attention! Completely committed to her job, for sure. I sure hope that corporate reads this and understands that in order to sustain this business you need people like Daniela not only in managing the operations but training people as well. Keep up the awesomeness Daniela! It doesn’t go unnoticed! And I sure hope you get some recognition for your awesome service!!!

Came here on a whim for a quick take out dinner and boy am I impressed. The menu and price seems fast food; $ 4.50 for most slices(nice ones, not just pepperoni and cheese), as well as premade salads and drinks in a fridge. However, the ambience is anything but; the booths and tables look very clean and modern, and the décor seems quite upscale for the price of the food. Lots of seating and TVs too, with friendly staff as well. The food is pretty good; I got a Big Sur and Rockamada(?) slice to go; they were very tasty and I love the garlic, however I wish the slices were crispier since they kind of droop and are hard to handle. Overall a great pizza place; my go-to place now if I want something good, inexpensive, and with a great sit-down vibe.

I feel like a vegetarian bear trying to rip off a bite of pizza. This was the sad thought that was the beginning of the end. The fire in the pizza oven and pizza lover’s heart was extinguished, shattered, and stomped on. Wow, I can’t remember the last time I had Pizza My Heart. I recall loving their pesto slice and was prepared to re-kindle an old flame. Well, work catering ftw on re-kindling some old pizza flames. Or not. They did a nice job with the delivery with tons of sauce choices. That’s where the fun stops. My eyes lit up at the sight of the nice, thin slice of pesto and… Huhhh this is kind of overcooked. Also, I can re-confirm the not so pleasant crust after having a the bread sticks which were rather tasteless and also the same difficult to chew and bite consistency. The cheese itself was tasty and so was the pesto — then again, you kind of can’t ruin cheese and pesto. It could be different eating in the establishment as pizza is something that is best piping out straight from the oven, and pizza my heart warms each slice in store before purchase. But, even the texture of the crust tasted different, and wasn’t even crispy, but rather just difficult to chew. Thanks for the memories Pizza My Heart. That’s what we’ll always have. For now, I’ll just stick to salad. #heartbreak

My first time here. Of all the pizza chains, pizza my heart is tolerably good(not considering California pizza kitchen). I usually get the pesto pizza. It’s a simple pizza with sauce, cheese and pesto sauce. Today the pizzas all looked like they had been sitting for a while. I got mine heated. Came out piping hot. The pesto was dry. It’s been better.

Mmm pizza. Not sure why the low rating, but I got delivery from here for Halloween and had a great experience. Staff answered the phone right away and said it would be a 1hr wait for delivery, although the delivery person came in 40 minutes or so. Yay coupons in the mail. I got 2 free salads(unfortunately they were out of the greek salads so I got the seasonal salads instead). The large pizza was huge and fed 4 people with 1 leftover slice. I loved the thin crust and they did not skimp on sauce or toppings(½ combo, ½ pesto for the vegetarian person). We also got buffalo wings. The sauce could be on the spicy side for someone who can’t eat spicy at all but it was tasty. They left it on the side, which I appreciated and didn’t think of asking for as no on one likes soggy wings. Takeaway: great pizza, decent service. Would recommend to order for last minute food for parties.

Yummy pizza slices at pocket friendly price. Great place to hang out with a group of friends and chat. The«chicken and bacon» and their signatory pizza, «the big sur» are my favorites. Parking is easy to find inside the shopping centre. I have been to both their Palo Alto and Sunnyvale outlets. The staff is friendly and helpful, suggesting pizzas and toppings.

Dear Ricardo and the rest of the staff at Pizza My Heart, I have mad respect for you. Thank you for allowing me to buy an extra large pepperoni pizza for a lady with 4 beautiful children. Every day I try to write down the most memorable moment of the day. Here is mine from today: «The best part of 7.22.15, the Camp Kesem Fundraiser Day, was when 2 skater boys, around age 13, told me that they had«mad respect» for me. A lady was holding up a cardboard sign with the picture of her four children. I asked her what her children liked, and she told me that pepperoni was their favorite. I delivered the pizza and gave her and the two skater boys three Camp Kesem flyers. What the boys and the lady did not know was that Pizza My Heart, my friend, and Camp Kesem made this moment possible. Without you guys, I would not have had the delicious pizza. Without my friend, I would not have the money to buy the pizza. Without Kesem, I would not have visited this Pizza My Heart location. I am honored that I could connect your staff, Camp Kesem, and the lady’s family together. :) Your whole team and Sunnyvale location deserve the mad respect.

I like their pizzas more than many other pizza places that gets 5-stars on Unilocal. And I like their pizzas more than many I have tried in New York. It is very important that you get them by the slice though, because their pizzas are much better re-toasted. If you get a whole pizza, make sure you get them re-toasted somehow. I like the Big Sur and D’Lex Chicken & Bacon. The Hook is good with lots of veggies, but the abundance of veggies also make the pizza a little soggy. For $ 5 more, you get a salad and a drink. Their Caesar salad tastes very much like Costco’s.

SUPER disappointing. I remember liking Pizza My Heart from high school, but that was before I started learning about food, began eating LOTS of pizza, and understood what’s good and what’s not. We ordered a large pizza — half Little Sur and half Virgin Creek — for delivery. We don’t live too far away from the shop, and the pizza was hot when we got it, but it just wasn’t great. First of all, the crust. It’s what can make or break a pizza. No matter how good the toppings and sauce are, it’s not a good pizza unless the crust is solid. And this one was anything but. Yes, it’s super thin, but it also has an elasticity that I never found at any pizza place in New York. It drooped. It was soggy. It seemed like it hadn’t been baked at a high enough temperature. It doesn’t have a lot of taste in of itself. And it was dusted with too heavy a layer of cornmeal on the peel. The crust was such that you HAD to fold it — twice — to keep it straight enough to eat. Bad stuff. The sauce. Bland, bland, bland. Has anybody ever taught these guys how to use salt? We actually whipped out the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to sprinkle over our slices, it was that bland. I’ve never had to do that before in my life. The toppings were actually fresh. I was impressed by the sliced cherry tomatoes on the Virgin Creek, which were barely wilted from the oven. It was obvious that it had been sliced just prior to being thrown on the pizza. The other veggies were great, and the garlic seemed to have been cooked confit — so tender and flavorful. These are the aspects that saved the pizza from immediate dumpage. The cheeses. They were just bad. Unlike the crust, the mozzarella didn’t have any elasticity. And the ricotta on the Virgin Creek was so bland! It needed lemon zest or olive oil or pepper or ANYTHING. I’m not sure if PMH’s pies that won the World Pizza Awards were insanely better than the one we got or if there just weren’t many competitors in the competition, but Pizza My Heart definitely doesn’t break in at the top 10 pizzas I’ve had in the Bay Area.

We went into Pizza my Heart because the name was cute. Seriously — who sat around one night and thought of that brilliant name? Totally dig it. Anyhow, I’ll give the place 4 stars. Reasons are as follows: 1.) Super nice employee didn’t get upset at all when we walked in 7 minutes before closing and even told us that we don’t have to get slices — we can get a whole pizza if we want. 2.) Slices are really big — straight up the size you’d get in New York at a real New York pizza vendor. That makes the $ 4.00 per slice price tag OK by me. 3.) When I asked how much the ranch dressing was I was told«it’s free and help ourselves»(said no pizza place — EVER). That was beyond great. 4.) Good ambiance. Fun and brightly colored — we took our to go but they have a cool bar to sit at and the place is pretty big. I deducted one star because at the end of the day it really is just pizza. It wasn’t stellar — but it was good.

I so wanted to give this place 3 stars because the customer service was really nice but after they messed up my online order twice, I just can’t. I suggest you order over the phone instead of ordering online. Supposedly they have better luck getting your order right if you call them. Don’t know if I’ll try it but that’s the suggestion I got when I called about my order. The pizza was a little soggy but still pretty good. Definitely worth ordering a pizza for pick up.

Kids meal comes with either spice of pepperoni or cheese pizza, 4 carrot sticks, small gummy fruit snack, drink(chocolate milk works), and toy(waxy sticks). Manresa is margherita plus ricotta. Not bad.
