A large comic shop that has quite a bit of inventory. The staff was terrible, I ended up not buying what I came there for because I will not support that business. The clerk never acknowledged any customers, just focused on his computer. I stepped between the display cases to look closer at a comic on the wall and that is when I got the clerk’s attention. He came over and said I need to be back up or he will start punching. Amazing only interaction with the staff was the threat of bodily harm. Do not let your kids visit here, it is not safe!

This place is spacey, has a great variety of comics, and once you become a regular, the place is so homey. Danjer really is the man.

Been here more than a few times now. I’ve recently gotten back to Magic: The Gathering and this is one of the first card shops I’ve visited in a long time. They’re not really closed, they moved a few suites away. The main guy who works here — Dan-ger(Danger? well you pronounce it «Dan Ger» he said) is really cool. Doesn’t know a lot about Magic, but knows more than enough. The shop as a whole is pretty nice, just kinda wish they had more in terms of card selections. Comics wise(though I’m not really into them much), this place is pretty sweet. It’s like comics wall to wall. Anyway, I’d really recommend this place. Dan-ger really makes you feel welcome so long as you know how to behave and don’t come off as shady much, heh.

I’ve been going here for over a decade now. Even when they didn’t have what I wanted in stock, Danjer(the old manager) always managed to get me what I was looking for. The store got bought out last year by Comic Collectors Shop — even though the name still hasn’t changed on the signs, it is under new management. Danjer’s now doing internet sales, and Neil from the old CCS store is up front. There was a bit of a rocky transition, but things have smoothed out since then. Still my store of choice. Still knowledgeable & female friendly. If you’re into it, they’ve got a bunch of the graded books, and other variants. If you’re just looking for reading copies, they have that as well. They’ve got some good pricing on the back issue bins.

I love this place! They have a HUGE section of comics. They also have older comics that are bundled in complete sets. They also have classic comics at resonable prices. They have 2 small Manga sections — one with 25% and the other with 60% off. It’s perfect if you just want to read the first volume of a series to see if you like it. I’ve bought lots of first volumes and ended up ordering more on Amazon if they don’t have the rest. The guys who work there are really cool too and they know their stuff.

A good place to visit for your comic needs. I’ve been going here for a while now and they have all sorts of stuff; comic and some animé related merchandise. It has an almost mom and pop kind of atmosphere and the manager is pretty friendly. The place is a little on the small side but they have a good selection of comics and other items like T-shirts, magic cards, and specialty toys you don’t find in regular toy shops. Plus they have a subscription service so you don’t have to worry about missing new comic issue releases, thats a big plus! Parking is not a problem since its in a large plaza area.

Four stars gets yee. When I first went to R & K, I was not that enthralled, but as I started going there more often, I realized that they have something about them. They have a huge, I mean, HUGE inventory of comics. I always seem to find oddities when I am there and the back issues are really cheap. What I see for $ 10 at another store, like Heroes, I get here for $ 3. They have a huge wall of graded comics, including the super rare dreamwave GI Joe vs Transformers that was never fully released before they went under. If you like staring at your comics through a quarter inch clear plastic box, then this is the place for you. If you like to find odd back issues and rare ones that are supposed to not exist, like Transformers 3-D from 1987, then this is the place for you too. They do not have a loose collectible toy area, but they have lots of MIB and MOSC newer stuff, and some older Star Wars toys as well. The Toys can get a little pricey, but the comics make it worth it. I have found some deals here with stuff like Heroes of Cybertron and some rare newer TF toys. They are number two-ish on my list of places to get comics for my boss at work and sometimes I make the trip out from North side SJ to get my own stuff there.

I swung by this place about ten minutes after they closed. The guy running the shop was nice enough to let me in to buy a couple things. It looked like a cozy little store.

I came here for the first time today. It’s a tiny little place, but it’s well-organized and well stocked. VERY good selection– I was able to find some issues/series that I CANNOT find other places. I’ll make this place part of my regular rotation for sure.
