The manager is a very nice and friendly(smoking) guy and the place is well kept up and in a pretty safe and nice location. There is only ONE problem… I was scheduled to move in Aug. 1 and looking forward to it b/c for $ 950 a month including PGE water and garbage plus a swimming pool isnt bad… the only downfall is there is a REGISTEREDRAPISTSEXOFFENDER living in the studio DIRECTLY behind the one I was going to rent. When I told the manager he has this guy living there… he acted like he knew or something I don’t know but he has more than 5 vacancies and the way I found out about this sex offender is by searching the area online for criminals… and this is a good tip for anyone moving to a new location. This place is also close to a school… only about a block or two away from a school so why the heck is there a pervert living that close to children? Anyways be safe and maybe when this rapist moves I will reconsider this place. Good luck.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 San Jose, CA
When I decided to join Dr. R. down in San Jose, it was apparent that just renting a room from his friend wasn’t going to cut it. I told him that I would find a job and he could find the apartment. Of course, he found one right over the overpass from his employer! We rented a studio apartment from Sands Studio Apartments for two years and a couple of months. This was a convenient place to lay our head and reheat our dinners during the week. We rarely stayed for a weekend day, preferring to spend those up in the East Bay with the kitty. These apartments had some drawbacks: 1) parking for only one of our cars and shrinking street parking in the surrounding area, 2) we had to provide our own air conditioning and those apartments can get really warm in the Spring and Summer.(We didn’t want to put our computers at risk for being stolen, so Dr. R. rigged up an air conditioning scheme that vented using the stove vents), 3) some transient renters could be loud or insensitive. These apartments had some positives: 1) across the street from a great taqueria(Ruby’s) where you can buy the BEST burritos on the face of the planet — but only until 8pm, or 7:30 on a weekend, 2) right across from a Mexican grocery store that had great fruit and vegetables, 3) within walking distance of a Hobbee’s, 4) a nice unheated pool that cooled a person off quickly, 5) instant hot water in the showers, 6) administration that cared about things like landscaping and pest control, 7) honest administration that returned every cent of our deposit b/c we cleaned like the dickens. We spent the two years looking for and finally finding the perfect house. I am glad that we had this place to land. If you get a choice, the apartments that face the back alley are the quietest and have the most long-term tenants.
