I contacted Unilocal to let them know that this Starbucks is no longer in business. Hopefully they’ll update the business page soon. Admittedly, Starbucks isn’t my most favorite coffee shop, but I don’t hate it either. Peet’s is where I like to go, personally. Anyway, this particular Starbucks had been in business for at least 15 years, if my memory serves me well. It had lots of seating, friendly employees and everything was always prepared promptly. A new, more modern Starbucks has opened down the street in the Homestead Square shopping center in Cupertino. As such, this Starbucks has finally closed its doors. Overall, they got the job done and I sure hope that the new Starbucks will provide the same level of service. 4 stars

Always was great coffee and service at this location. But I drove by today and the signage was gone and the windows papered up. Did they move? It was open last week, unless I am hallucinating. :( Edit: It appears they moved down the street by the new Safeway on Homestead. :)

A bit irked about the service I received around 11am today. I ordered a grande black iced tea from a tall, skinny guy with glasses and a donut. Went over to the counter and a bit later the barista called out«TALL black unsweetened iced tea». Was a bit confused bc I thought I had ordered a grande and I can’t tell the difference between the sizes. I went over to the register the ask the tall, skinny guy with glasses if I had ordered tall or grande. He says grande. So I said«is this a grande?» He smiles and says mockingly, «Yes, do you want me to put it in a tall cup for you?» WTF? No, sir I want to make sure that I got what I ordered and didn’t need you to make me feel like a dumbass.

I like this Starbucks a lot. The baristas are almost all good. The layout is spacious. The traffic flow is logical. It has no Clover, which is sad(not sure why). And you do have to be aware that there is a high school a couple of blocks away, so it can be very busy from 12 – 12:39 and from 3 – 4 pm.

Super friendly staff and amazing coffee. The employees are professional and polite. The manager did a great job gathering her team to make an excellent atmosphere. Always make my coffee less than 2 minutes. Great service.

I’m a regular and they remember my name and my order and sometimes have it ready before I pay. One of the better Starbucks.

I ordered a Green Tea Frap and it’s taste great than the other Starbucks. It has a little bit of strong green tea flavor but bit of too much sweet.

Everyone needs a local coffee shop, and this is mine. While the service is always good and the coffee is your basic Starbucks coffee, it’s the way the staff makes me feel at home that really sticks out. Starbucks has gotten a bad rap, and I can understand that, it is corporate, it is the same no matter where you go, but the people make this location feel more like a local shop than a mega-chain. Note: This becomes the local high school hangout each day when school gets out. Be prepared!

This place has gotten busier with the school year — it’s now often filled with middle schoolers and high schoolers after 3pm. Seating(esp with tables) are a little scarcer with big groups of friends hanging out @ this local Starbucks. And the facilities are admittedly a little messier But all in all I would still come here for reliability and for the still-friendly staff.

Eh… the last two times I’ve gone in they wrote my order wrong. I asked for an extra shot in my venti latte and they wrote 3 shots instead of 4, good thing I saw it before they charged me extra for no reason! Today when I went in, my latte didn’t even taste like they put any shots in there! Straight up tasted like milk, very disappointing… I’ll be driving the extra 5 minutes to the one on de Anza because they make my drink right.

Starbucks of Sunnyvale, CA94087 is a great place to go for a coffee experience. Many of the workers here are friendly, and this location is designed very well. There is plenty of interior seating in this spacious location. Plus, there are a few patio seats just out front. This Starbucks is right near Togo’s Sandwiches, and there’s lots of parking. Note: No health hazards/violations were noted at this location.

I came here last night around 8pm to get my freeeee hazelnut macchiato! :)). The tables were all filled with students being tutored, students studying, and friends hanging out. I was the only one in line, so my drink was made very quickly! I couldn’t really taste the hazelnut, but could totally taste the coffee! :). I would definitely come back for a hazelnut macchiato, even though I don’t really go out to buy coffee!

This is my local Starbucks. Love the open space(no obstacles to get to the order/pick-up counter) and the staff is friendly. I like to get fresh bagels(couple doors down) and hang out here.

This is the best Starbucks in the area. The staff is great. There is some sort of weird vortex surrounding the property, however. Strange unseen forces are at work here; nobody knows how to properly form a line. Besides that the drinks are made on point with vigor! Fantabulous.

This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I don’t understand how it’s so slow and why steps haven’t been taken to fix it. Every time I come here, there is one person on the register. Only one, ever. And there are at least 2 other people walking around back uselessly, seemingly not caring that the line is backing up by the minute. I think the employees and managers are about equally at fault. This location is understaffed(or maybe 2⁄4 employees are never doing anything) and the staff that is there seems to be inextricably slow. I even spoke to a regional manager about this one day when he happened to be in the other, WAY better Starbucks down the street. I heard a woman complaining about this location and I chimed in. Once I did, literally everyone else in line heard the conversation and agreed. So um, Mr. Manager, why didn’t you do anything to fix it? Today I waited 15 minutes in a 4 person line to get a drip coffee. Seriously? While I was waiting, the line backed up to 13 people. I counted. This is not acceptable. All the while, the manager was standing at the un-used register doing who knows what, but not taking orders. Another woman employee walked in and out of the back several times. I was a barista for 3 years. It’s not rocket science people. Learn how to run your location. Until then I will never ever come back. Thank god the location at Foothill Crossing 2 miles away has competent management.

Personally, I think the service is just fine. I mean really how much hospitality can you expect from someone working minimum wage taking your order of a cup of coffee. It’s not exactly necessary to the process. The employees quickly take your order and fulfill it. I’m almost always there at rush hour and I am impressed by A) the quality of the drink and B) the speed at which they finish the order. I think that even if there is not a high bar of expectation for the workers, they most definitely exceed mine. My drinks are always perfectly done. Seasonal stuff is great. I even asked for an extra cup of whipped cream and the barista was totally friendly and handed me a cup. This particular Starbucks is roomy, always cozy, and warm. My only complaint is the speed of wifi. I guess that isn’t their fault because so many people are using laptops and their bandwidth isn’t enough to cover me and the other twenty to thirty people in the room watching tv shows(*ehem* go grey’s anatomy *ehem*). I love white chocolate mocha’s, peppermint mochas, expresso shots, vanilla bean fraps, and passion tea lemonade(This is AH-MAZ-ING). My friend’s favorite drinks are the gingerbread mocha and the caramel frap. Coffee is one of my favorite things so maybe I’m just a teensy bit biased. haha.

I gotta say that this was my go-to Starbucks for about a year– I lived across the street! Things were plugging along just fine until a week before I moved away. Usually, I had no issues with my drinks being made to my(fairly simple) specifications. I certainly believe that counts for something. But I went in there most recently with my free birthday certificate and had the worst customer service I have ever received at a Starbucks. I don’t like being that person who gripes about one employee but I feel that her behavior was just plain rude– I hope no one else experiences it. Hell, if you can’t give someone a half-smile on her birthday, maybe you don’t belong in customer service. As far as *Bux go, this one has quite a lot of seating and a House of Bagels practically next door. Thumbs up! One weird thing about it is that their line forms from the left side of the food counter… but there is ALWAYS some geek who can’t read the OBVIOUS sign that says«Line up on left»

If you looked at this mall you’d never think a Starbucks would land here. With that 70s time forgotten exterior, I wouldn’t either. I guess leave it to their biz team marketers to figure out the need for a caffeine stop since there’s a lack in the area. As always not much on their coffee but on a hot day their iced tea will do.
