Sufi Salon

After hearing friends rave about their experience getting a facial here, I decided to give Sufi Salon a try. The woman Parto has MAGIC HANDS! I could tell she’s passionate about her work and is highly experienced from the first layer to the eighteenth layer of my treatment! Her title, «skin specialist» is correct — she is a true specialist.
The intimate home-​based spa offers about six different types of facials, from blemish control to microdermabrasion to european-​style — in increments of 30 minutes to 2 hours. Prices range from $ 50-​$ 200. As I know next to nothing about skin care, I asked Parto to give me the treatment she thought my skin needed and received a luxurious set of applications from cleansing to aromatherapy to light microderm to renew the top layer of my skin. I was a little nervous about the little vacuum wand that comes along with microdermabrasion but when she showed me the before and after on my skin I am sold for life! Today, the day after my treatment, my skin feels so soft and clean and refreshed… I didn’t realize how bad it was before.
Oh – bonus — she also did a very relaxing light massage of my hands, neck, and décolletage — I was so comfortable I actually fell asleep a little a few times. In my experience with massages, facials, and acupuncture I have never been so relaxed I fell asleep! An extra star for that.
I am interested in doing a facials party with my friends — kind of a girls night out — and was a little concerned because the size of her spa can only accommodate one person at a time. Luckily, she can come to you! I was thinking this would be a great pre-​wedding bachelorette or bridesmaids gift kind of thing.
