Worst food I had here… for sure, they are not cooking food daily(may be once in 2 days) coriander rice, veg biriyani, lemon rice smells bad, and very dry(they must have heated food many times in microwave) Food used to be good with old management, but this new management is playing with people’s health… please don’t go there. scary and risky place…

Kara masala dosa tops the list here. No South Indian vegetarian restaurant in Bay Area can beat their Thali’s. After living in Bay Area for little less than 2 years, I can say that they have an awesome, mouthwatering menu. I would highly recommend this for everyone.

Pathetic restaurant! Does not deserve even one star. The entire restaurant is extremely filthy. I wonder who gave them the idea of painting all the walls bright orange! Even the bathrooms!!! The food was horrible. We ordered for poori and they were fried in reused oil, the oil was stale! The potato curry was a bland paste with few carrots thrown into it and the chole were too salty! Horrible food and horrible customer service. I wonder how come they didn’t get a red card yet! What a waste of money, we just trashed the food and walked out.

This place sucks big time. Their curries are nasty. Their oil is from the Stone Age. Better starve than eating at a place like this. Wish I could give it ZERO star rating.

We ordered food from them for my daughter’s birthday and food was horrible. They promised me full trays for each of the items that I ordered but did not even give half trays. Paneer butter masala is full of water and very sweet in taste with one or two paneer pieces here and there. Guthi vankaya curry has no gravy in it and it has just stuffing inside and it is all dry with no taste. Chapathis were not roasted at all. Even making an order with them is not easy. It’s your responsibility to follow up regularly and they are available only on mobile texting. I recommend people to stop going to this place. The only reason I ordered food from them because we had birthday party in temple and we were looking for vegetarian restaurant.

If I don’t get packed food from home, this place is where I am very likely to have lunch. Regular Combo(Chapati + Veg Biryani) is my regular order. Chapatis are nicely prepared and Veg biryani does not have much masala. But the curry which is served with the chapati is what balances the masala in the whole combo dish. Will be going for this again! Tried their Mysore masala dosa and wasn’t too impressed.

Decent food but the folks in the restaurant have a massive attitude problem. They absolutely don’t understand anything about customer service

Things have gotten worse here over the past few months. I wanted to give them a chance again so i tried their idly-vada. The idlies were STALE. They had a yellow crusted layer on top. Vada was stale too. Horrible sambar. They have figured out a new strategy to cut corners. Now they serve food in steel plates. Due to this they end up giving smaller quantity of sides. Also, portion sizes shrink. They replaced disposable cups with washable cups. It is an unmitigated hygiene disaster! People don’t know what to do with the steel plates after they r done. Some people put them near the trash bin. Since the don’t go INTO the trash bin, it is an eyesore and also dirty leftovers giving off their«aromas» into the room. With such people can u trust to drink water from their glasses? The ones that are«clean» are still damp. They don’t heat dry them. So next time u fall sick, think if u have eaten here.

Used to be decent & home made kind couple of years back. quality has deteriorated and they use monosodium glutamate(ajinomoto) as flavour enhancer for everything including sambhar. Normally it was used by resturants in Chinese dishes as flavour enhancer now they sprinkle on every dish. Ask for food without Aginomoto. Its a banned to be used in USA, as the effects are well known.

Used to be decent place to eat about 2years ago. I was visiting Bay Area so decided to stop here for brunch and ordered my usual Thali. LARGE amounts of food which was unedible due to poor quality and hygiene is questionable. 1. Paneer dish had only one small piece of paneer with all gravy 2. Dal was diluted with all water to consistency which made it unrecognizable. 3. Pakore were not fresh. 4. Another onion sabzi diluted with water 5. yellow rice with large chunks of potatoes had no flavor. Complete waste of my $ 10. This place should shut down. People have too many choices for same food in this area. No wonder their restaurant was empty. Will not return.

Best place for south Indian breakfast. Really good coconut chutny and ginger chutny. Most authentic South Indian breakfast place in bay area.

We are trying food at this place since few years, but we see some change recently with taste. We ordered Poori and Onion Dosa. We clearly saw taste and quality went down. This was one of the favorite place for south Indian Tiffins. Another issue with this place is cleanliness. This is not very hygiene. If you can fix this, you will see more and more customers.

They have really amazing dosas and mirchi bhaji in town! We have been to this place during lunch and evening snack time and it has been crowded both the times! There are a lot of work places near this area, so no wonder this place gets a lot of customers. Their food tastes fresh and authentic. It serves mainly south indian food so you can treat your taste buds if you are crazing idlis or dosa ;) Some of the food items that tastes really good include Masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, Idli, Medhu vada, Bhajji, Mirchi bhajji, Tea, Coffee. And the red chutney(sauce) that they give with dosas and idlis is simply amazing.
