Vanity Spa Salon

I tried to book a pedicure online but couldn’t find any open dates. I called to book the appointment, explaining that I had an expired mani-​pedi voucher and wanted to apply the paid value to a pedicure only. The woman I spoke with said they no longer offer those services and I needed to get a refund from «the third party». She was unsympathetic and unhelpful — not concerned that their online booking lists pedicures nor even attempting to recommend other services.

I have been to Lash Salons for extensions in many places, including when I travel. My first choice for beautiful lashes for the past three years has been Lily at Vanity Spa Salon. Lily’s work is extraordinary! She has made my lashes thicker at times for public events, or more natural when I have requested. The staff is courteous and as a repeat (*I tip above average for above average service) customer, they take the time to find me an appointment when I need it. The lashes last wonderfully (if one takes care of them) and I receive compliments often. The staff are courteous and professional. You can have lashes done anywhere, but these are the best, which is why you must book your appointment in advance!

No longer has a nail tech. We had a Groupon for 2 mani pedis and came to redeem it after quite some time had passed. We were told to get a refund from Groupon because «that girl no longer works here.»

If customer service and a trouble free experience is important to you, then I would find some place else to go.
I discovered this place through groupon, I bought a package of 2 facials. The first issue was that I had a hard time booking my apt. No one answered the phone or responded to my voice messages. I was finally able to book via texting.
The second issue, they made a mistake and booked me when the therapist was not available.
Third issue, when they rescheduled me, they booked me with a different therapist that didn’t accept groupons.
Fourth issue was how they handled the mix up. When I checked in I reminded them that this was for my first of two groupon apts. They immediately scolded me for trying to use two groupons. I explained that I had only purchased one groupon, but it was a package for two facials. They reluctantly said that was ok. But then they tried to accuse me of coming in for the first apt (the same apt they canceled) because the apt was still in their records. I showed them the txt that they sent me canceling the apt. They continued to argue with me for over 10 min, first with the receptionist, then with the manager before they finally decided to call the therapist, who confirmed that the apt had been canceled and she forgot to update it in the system.
So, with all that finally sorted out, I though I could finally get my facial, but then they told me that I had been booked with a therapist that didn’t accept the groupons. It took everything I had to keep my cool.
They just made way to many errors and were unbelievably rude and unapologetic. I will not deal with them again.

I love this place & I can’t recommend it highly enough! I got my lash extensions done there for a few years & Lily is absolutely amazing! She does way better than any spa I’ve ever been to before!!!

—thanks for trying. But let me tell you something. It is not miscommunication! It is unprofessional service. I made an appointment and it was confirmed on the phone. When I walked in, lily told me she had a customer and didn’t even feel bad for the situation. It’s ok. Lily’s work just ok anyways.

I love Vanity Spa Salon! I go there to get my eyelashes done by Lily and mani/pedi’s by Elizabeth. I moved to San Francisco from Sunnyvale about a year ago and I still come all the way to Vanity because they are the best! I tried other salons that were closer to my house in the city, but every place I went to was so disappointing. I highly recommend Vanity Spa Salon!!! They are the best in the Bay Area! Thank you Ladies!

I have been going to Lily now for almost 4 years, and each time I see her she does an amazing job! She always squeezes and accommodates me even with her busy schedule. I love her work with my eyelashes, which is the reason why I continue to go to her every month and for the past couple years. She does a fantastic job and I always go home satisfied and smiling!

Lily does an amazing job with my eyelash extensions! She is very friendly and gets the job done pretty fast. My appointment for a full set took about an hour and my touch ups are usually about 30 minutes. I get touched up every three weeks. Since she gets booked pretty quickly, I set my next appointment after checking out every visit and she tries to be accommodating with scheduling since I travel quite a distance to see her. The lashes are very comfortable and beautiful!

I have been going to Lily for over a year now for my lashes and been so happy with them. I get compliments all the time! She’s fast and always makes time in her busy schedule to squeeze me in. Some places take over two hours for lashes, she takes about an hour and they always last long and look beautiful and full.
I live in fremont so I drive all the way to Sunnyvale just to see Lily, and it’s worth it every time!

I’ve been going to Vanity Spa for a couple years. I get massages from Angie, but found out she is no longer there. I asked where she went, but they said they didn’t know.
If someone out there knows where I can find Angie, please post a review here. She’s the best and I really would like to find her!
Other than that, the value is good when you buy packages of 10 massages. But it is difficult to get someone to call you back when you want to make an appointment. And their website booking system does not work well.

I hardly ever write negative reviews. However, I would like to share, so future customers can make their own judgement. Keep in mind that every employee here at the spa is independent. As such, you are paying the person who serviced you but not the spa.
I got my eyelash extension done by Lily. I asked her that I want my lashes to look natural. She completed the service within 30 minutes and I thought that was quite fast. I was content with the lashes right after she completed. However, the lashes started to come off starting that evening. It has been three days since I had it done and I lost at least 30−40% of the lashes. Just a note, I did not wear any make up since I had my lashes done, which means I did not use any oil remover which can cause the lashes to fall off. I get eyelashes done often, and I believe the lashes should not fall off this soon.
Another point. I bought a groupon, and that’s how I learned about this place. However, because every employee is independent, one would not take the groupon. I realized that after Lily completed the eyelash extension. I did not hear anything about it when I made an appointment nor before the service. I had no choice but to pay her straight up. To make the matters worse, she was also very blunt about it when she made me pay. I ended up paying $ 120.
Please make a good judgement when you visit here.

Had a groupon coupon for couple massage. It was so hard to book a time, since nobody answered the phone and i had to leave msgs! After all they called me and said we could go on Friday. However, when we went there on Friday we found out they offer couple massage just on Tuesdays! So we had to have two separate massage and since just one person was available we had to wait an hour each! After all the massage itself was good and relaxing.
Don’t trust groupon!

Great place for a mani/​pedi. I like that the mani/​pedi rooms are in individuals room, so you can really relax and enjoy the service. It can be hard to get in contact with someone at the front desk, but I later learned that it is because they do not have a receptionist. The salon techs answer the phone. I used to work at a spa, I get it.
I will return for a service soon.

I’ve been here twice now for eye lash extensions. First time Lily took care of me, second time Tammy– both times they did a great job. My extensions were just long enough but not too dramatic. More importantly, they last forever! I last got mine done the last week of July and just a week ago (now September) somebody asked me if my lashes were real.

I got a spa week gift card, went online and clicked to find only places that would take this gift card. Vanity Spa popped up. I called to make an appointment and felt pretty rushed by the person taking my appointment. But I made sure that I asked that they took the Spa Week gift card because that’s the only reason I booked with them and the lady reassured me saying yes.
I came in for my appointment, was asked if I had any vouchers and I said I had a gift card. The lady (not the same one as the one I spoke with on the phone), told me they no longer take spa week gift cards anymore and that they had tried to inform spa week to take them off. I told her that when I made the appointment, I made sure they took the gift card. She said that she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. (How about honoring what the person said 2 days ago?)
So, I left disappointed that my time was wasted and that I could’ve just booked with another place had I been told this to begin with.

This place is good for Pedi– Meni, Hair cut and Massage.
I have experienced their signature massage and pedi-​meni with hot stone massage.
The signature body massage was really good with the background music.
The best experience was with meni-​pedi. She is simply awesome. She really cares for her customer. Very good quality service.
Be careful. After massage you have to give Tip. If its not satisfactory then she may ask you for more.
My concern is Tips is some thing extra for the service, but not mandatory!!!

The service was so bad I decided to cancel my groupon. Is this even a nail salon?..
You can’t tell me 4 days in a row you do not have any appointments available when it says you take walk-​ins!
Terrible– would never recommend.

I have been going to this place for over two years now to get my lashes done. So far I do not have any complaints about the quality or the price. Lily always do a good job on my lashes.
I would call a few weeks in advance if you want a good appointing time. I usually get mine filled every 3 to 4 weeks. I think she charges a full set if you goes over 4 weeks.
I have gotten a facial here once. It was okay. Nothing bad but also nothing super memorable.

Came here for a lash extension. It was relatively pain free and I thought she did quite a good job until I got home. She left a ton of glue on my left eye and later the day a whole chunk of falsies fell off of my left eye out of nowhere. Looked super awkward…
Have had lash extensions done all over the world and I would say this is one of the worst jobs done…
Won’t be coming back even though prices were tempting.
1 star for price, and 2^nd star because I thought their salon and room was rather clean, well kept, new.
