Gets busy during the weekends but it’s a good place for a drink or two. Ate lunch and service was great, the food was good. Plenty of boat parking but it fills up fast on weekends.

The place looked great. The staff was friendly. The burger was good and the beer was cold. That makes this place awesome. And the they have PWC boat slips that you drive you ski up onto. Definitely a place that I recommend and I would like to go back to when I’m in town.

I waited at their bar area waiting to be served. The good looking women got all the attention, and after 30, yes THIRTY minuets, I gave up trying to get my FIRST beer and left. Went to Marty’s in camdenton, and had a beer in hand in less than 1 minuet. WOULDNOTRECOMMEND

Best bands, nite life, sports venue, dock access on West side. Food is good Food is not great but solid The Wraps are great. Love to see some seasonal food variety and something they known for. Still looking for a west side restaurant to make best ground beef tacos on lake! Bar staff always the nicest guys once you start chatting with them. Thankful we gave Cspt Rons. Just like to see a fresher menu — just me. Hope they can attract locals this winter. I go in on Sat nite and wonder” where do all the local docs, accountants, real estate agents, business owners go on Sat nites? Congrats on being family friendly and safe, welcome environment :)

Great atmosphere. Lots of food choices. The Nalu’s nachos with Crab and Shimp was awesome as well as the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Something to do for everyone. The band that was playing on that Saturday night was great for dancing! Looking forward to a return visit next time to head to the Lake of the Ozarks

Sub-par. Slow service, long wait for a table. Longer wait for food. Chaos in management. Drinks good. Food bad.

Great place on the lake for kids and parents alike. Easy boat parking and a nice outdoor bar while the kids swim, play in sand or jump in the bouncy house. Food was good. Our waitress was very sweet and was good with our crew of 4 kids. I had a chimichanga with chicken. Fast service and it was relish. My daughter had the mini corn dogs. They accommodated her request for a Shirley temple. Our crew had a burrito and chicken wings which were great. Nice clean bathrooms and a fun and casual environment. Took a pain the ass to go as we went back out on the lake.

Been here before. It was fine! This time we arrive about 5. We are told a 45 minute wait. We are fine with that. We go to the bar to wait. Lots of empty tables but we think they are going to seat people. Forty-five minutes later the tables are still empty. My spouse goes to the hostess to inquire about our wait time. She says she’s was just going to page us. She seats us. A waitress finally takes our order. We wait and wait and wait. A table of guys come in about 15 minutes after we are seated. She waits on them. Brings their drinks and we are still waiting for our drinks. We left. Just two of us. My spouse is a big tipper. She lost out on us. The bar people were very nice, tho!

Captain Ron’s food is consistently good. Their workers are very good at their jobs and friendly. The drinks are not always consistent — depends on who’s bartending that night. 2 out of the 3 nights we were there the drinks were good. The 1 night they weren’t, the bartender needed more training obviously.

Nice spot for a bite to eat, cold beverages to enjoy, and sand beach to play on. With that being said I would give this place another chance due to our first experience not being the greatest. We came on a Sunday morning where brunch seemed to be the thing to do. We opted out and took lunch menus. My mother got the Grouper strips and side of fries. Fish was 75%batter and 25%fish. Fries were cold, like really cold. The prices for beer are a bit outrageous($ 5.75 for a bottle of Bud Light). It wasn’t the cleanest of places and maybe my expectations were a bit high for what we got.

The worst service I’ve had in forever. We had a large party and we came in a great mood. To make a long story short: I really wanted to like this place. The worst part was the double standard. The minority members of our party did not get what they ordered. Even after we tried to get it fixed the servers would not fix it. The rest of us got our orders no problem. When I asked for them to fix it for my black Mother-in-law the manager refused. She did give my white husband money off our ticket however(but not my Mother-in-laws). Very strange…

I had so much fun here! Played sand volleyball, had some drinks, swam up to their sand beach. Def a place to check out. Looking forward to going back.

Hey Captain Ron’s don’t seat people who, because they don’t want to be jerks, immediately ask if your kitchen is still open at 8:59pm, tell them yes you can still get food and then go out of your way to ignore them. We were starving and would have left you a 50% tip for drink, food and good service. Your loss chubby waiter that walked by our table at least 6 times.

The food is great, we come here almost every time we come to the lake which is pretty often. We usually get the blackened grouper tacos or the buffalo chicken wrap, both delish. My son loves coming here because of the bounce house and the beach, that being said there are several things that could be improved upon. For one, they never have the cardinal game outside in the deck. That really bothers the hubby. Second, they quit giving out Frisbees and or buckets with the kids meal. That upsets the kiddo. During the summer, you wait for ever for your food. Something needs to be done about that. Since they bill themselves as a kid friendly place, they should recognize that people with kids cannot wait that long for food. An inevitable meltdown is sure to occur and that’s good for no one. They should have servers that wait on you for drinks on the beach, they would make so much more money.

The best part of this joint is the beach and outside seating area. It’s pretty chill and reminds me a bit of beach restaurants in Florida, only done with Missouri flare. All the food is placed on outside friendly dinnerware so you can«carry out» to the beach and sand volleyball. The food is fair. We got a pizza and nachos. The nachos would have benefited from thicker chips and the pizza was very undercooked. It still tasted good and was reasonably priced. The pirate theme brought it all together. Arrgh! The best place we visited in six days in the Ozarks.

I am a first timer here and I LOVEDIT! The environment here is awesome. There is a beach, a bar, and a restaurant. How can you not love drinking, snacking, and taking a dip on a hot day all in one place? Mind blown. I love the fact that it feels like a vacation spot while being in Missouri. I went to school in a small town and being at this place reminded me of being up at college. The staff is very personable and are great at what they do. They did very well on suggesting drinks and their top picks on food. I enjoyed the Davy Jones style Nachos. This consisted of cheese, lobster, cheese, shrimp, cheese, sour cream and salsa. Yes I put cheese 3 times cause it is loaded with it and I wasn’t even mad about it! I also had a Long Island and a Rum Runner(slushy style) and it was made to perfection. My only downfall are the prices. It’s pretty pricey but totally understandable because of it being a seasonal place. The next time I go to the Ozarks, I will be back for more!

We waited a little over an hour for our food. It was so cold that the cheese on a few of our sandwiches wasn’t even melted. 2 of the 6 orders were wrong. Not a good experience. The manager did not make us pay for the food or the drinks.

It seems that just about every restaurant on the lake has the same basic, greasy food. Don’t get me wrong, I love a hot basket of fries or potato skins, but bring something unique to it. What you are really paying for here is the beach and atmosphere. It can be an all day affair with kids and adults. They have very clean and safe docks and on a weekend, you may have to wait a little bit to get one. The beach can get packed and not necessarily the restaurants fault, but rude people leave their trash laying on the beach. I was there over the July 4th weekend and I only saw an employee walk along the beach picking up dishes and bottles once. Perhaps this weekend made me a little jaded about this place because of the drunk crowds, trash and smokers flicking their cigarette butts in the sand and water. The food is just okay, again it tastes like a lot of food on the lake. The problem with a lot of these restaurants is that they are getting soooo expensive. We had two rum runners, two beers, nachos, grouper fingers and two kids meals and it was $ 86 after tip. Our two rum runners were $ 20 alone, now I did get the«floater.» so that added to it. This place is not the only expensive place on the lake, so I’m fair in my reviews of lake restaurants in pointing that out. I really enjoy travelling by boat to lake side restaurants and I will continue to do so, but I don’t think I can afford to hang out for hours like I used to.
