Big Lots is like going to the dollar store, only with bigger stuff for sale. They sell everything from food, to office supplies, to linens, to furniture at prices below grocery and department stores. Some is nice quality and some isn’t.
Just like shopping at Target, you go in for one thing and leave with a bag full of stuff you had no intention of buying.
The store has that dirty warehouse feel to it and was pretty messy. However, it was a Sunday afternoon 12 days before Christmas, so I’ll give them a pass this time. The staff was friendly enough and were working to restock and clean up.
I’m sure there are good deals to be found here. The cleaning supplies I picked up were about 75% cheaper than Publix. I might drop in again if I see something interesting in their weekly ad.
