Very nice, clean office. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They made my first visit to the dentist in many many years a great experience. Glad I was referred to them!

Going to the dentist is always uncomfortable. You have to lay down with your mouth wide open staring into a light. Then a cleaning is uncomfortable. God forbid you have to get a filling. What if I didn’t brush good enough? What if they can TELL I haven’t flossed every day of my life? Well… The fine folks at Robert Cherry’s office made me feel so comfortable, hooked me up so good and made the process so painless… I have no reason not to give them 5 stars. How awesome is it to say: I found a dentist on Unilocal! I called to set an appointment and they got all of my insurance info over the phone. They told me I was all set. They even called the day before to remind me of my appointment. When I arrived I filled out the sheet for first timers, and waited about 30 minutes. They took some xrays to make sure my bone structure was still in tact(It had been a while since my last visit, don’t judge me!) and put me in a room, laying down, waiting Dr. Leonard. Sidebar — the entire staff here is so nice! From the front desk, to the ones that took my xrays to the one that eventually gave me a cleaning… SOSONICE! So Dr. Leonard gives me a look over and tells me it’s a lot better than I probably thought. Just some minor issues… and that my gums were a LITTLE swollen… but that might just be because I need a quick cleaning. He explained it all out to me and told me he likes his patients to know what is going on, instead of him just making decisions. He said nowadays with google you can self diagnose or get a lot of information on certain things, so he wants his patients to know what is going on, so they can also do some research. He said he rarely has a patient that says«I trust you Doc, just go to work.» So he always lays out the plan. I thought that was cool. The cleaning was great! WHAT?! Yea it actually was! The tech that did my cleaning(AH! So mad I didn’t get her name) was so nice and talked to me the entire time, which made the cleaning SOENTERTAINING. She discusses such topics as: Grilled cheese, dinner, her daughters eating habits, her experience in dentistry, flossing(duh!), and he daughters summer break activities. I had a sensitive part of my gum, between two molars, she flushed it out and stuck some crazy looking tooth pick in there… while it hurt and bled a little she said it would be fine. Next day, inflammation was down and back to normal. I am going back to get a filling in a couple of days. Yes, I had cavities. I should of never put off the dentist for SOLONG. Luckily they were very minor cavities so it should be somewhat painless/quick. I know one thing… with this office a couple of blocks from home I will never miss another cleaning/check up.
