Love this place! Been here several times and only purchase Chicken salad sub. But, that’s all I need to order from her it’s amazing!

Solid Hoagie shop, chillin’ cool guys who will work with you even if you arrive at 7pm closing time, letting you sit back relax to eat. One of the gents has been working here for the past 20 years and is the purveyor of quality ingredients going into their sandwiches. The bread baked daily from a local business is delivered each morning, no preservatives. This is noticeable in each bite! Not gummy or poofy! Even better when toasted!
The meats: Most are Boar’s Head brand but the guy informs me that both the Roast Beef and Pastrami are from National Deli since it has less fatty marblelization. He even was quite emphatic while discussing this. My Pastrami sammich agrees!
After the meat is chosen, the freedom is yours to customize it to your desire. Tonight’s Pastrami included Swiss, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, oil & vinegar, oregano, salt & pepper.
Lastly you can either have it cold, ask them to only warm the meat, or to warm the meat AND panini press heat the bread. Do yourself a favor and get both! That bread has a nice slight crunch on the outside with good quality and not too doughy inside. Mustard /​Mayo lines both breads, followed by the pastrami n cheese. The remaining condiments are arranged within the center and meld with the flavors on either side of the bite no matter which way you bite (upside down or right-​side up)! Nice!
Oh and while I waited for this quick dinner, they let me sample their chicken salad. Creamy moist. A nice touch of service!
Speaking of service, the guys are so laid back that they mentioned anyone can call ahead of time if running late and the sandwich will be there waiting (within reason of how late I assume). Call ahead and inquire!
Terrific service, terrific food, quick service, convenient and a great budget ($ 9 for an 8inch let me split into two satisfying meals: Dinner followed by lunch leftovers.)

Sharpies is a hidden gem. The food is as good as the the workers are friendly. The meat portions are is big and appetizing as most sub shops «subway» advertise on tv. Don’t get discouraged by the long lines during lunch because they pump the subs out one after another and have u on ur way in no time. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of good subs, big portions, and being full. Been eating there ten plus years and can’t get enough. Go check em out.

We showed up 15 minutes prior to their closing and they greeted us warmly and assured us that we could eat inside without rushing. The sandwiches were overstuffed and delicious.

Top notch sub joint! Always consistent and always fresh. Love the tuna. Comparable to Laspadas and closer to my office.

Pastrami hoagie was excellent! Generous portions of pastrami, perfectly toasted wheat bread melted with jack cheese, fresh lettuce, onions, jalapeños, banana peppers, deli mustard, mayo, oil, salt, and pepper = completely satisfied tummy!
Their soda machine also sported Fanta’s «Birch Beer,» a unique find!
Easily one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have had but I will definitely be back any time we are at Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall!

Sharpies is located in a small strip mall next to Sawgrass Mall. The location probably contributes to a smaller lunch crowd compared to the rest of eateries in the area which couldn’t make me happier. If you work in the Sawgrass area you know that getting lunch nearby can be a nightmare. Not at Sharpies! Even at peak hours they’re employees do a great job of taking your order, prepping your sandwich and getting you on your way.
Speaking of the sandwiches, these are some of the best and biggest you will find. I’ve tried every special here and all have been great. Fresh ingredients, plenty of meat and toppings, and attention to detail all combine to make a great lunch.
If you’re ever in the area make sure you make it to Sharpies!

My coworkers and I came here on our lunch break and the service was great and quick which is always appreciated when you’re on a lunch break. I ordered the chicken salad hoagie and it might be the freshest chicken salad I’ve ever had. The bread was very fresh too. Will recommend.

My sandwich was pretty good, the service was also very good here, all the employees were friendly. The meat was very fresh and the portions are huge. Honestly 2 people can eat their 8 inch sub and still be full!

The footlong is a giant hoagie. They put more lunchmeat on it that I would normally buy for a week at the deli. Unless you are a giant or are sharing, the 8 inch is plenty for a lunch. I had the Italian and it was great.

Great sub shop! Generous portions for a good price. A full sub can easily leave me with enough leftovers for a second meal.
Their roast beef is my current favorite.
The venue is a bit hard to find as its in a plaza behind a bunch of fast food places on the main road.

Get the Roast Beef (6″ 8″ or 12″) topped with all the fixings. Very flavorful and is just the perfect amount of medium — medium rare! Bread is so soft & the toppings are fresh!
Smaller area inside, probably seats about 30 people if that, both table & counter seating.
My only gripe was the chip selection — just wish it was more extensive for my personal liking.
They also have fountain Birch beer if anybody is looking for it!

I don’t think there are enough good things I can say about Sharpie’s. I’ve been here tons of times and I always forget to Unilocal about it as I would consider myself a regular. Sharpies is family/​friend run and owned. The guys are SUPER friendly and welcoming and even remember that you’re a regular when they’re not slammed. Sharpie’s subs are HUGE so come hungry or ask for your sub to be cut in half and take the rest to go! It’s literally a «hole in the wall» mom and pop type of place, but let’s be honest, those are truly the best kinds of food places to find! Never be afraid to ask for extra condiments; lettuce, tomato, pickles, olives, etc. They definitely do not skimp on the extras. Super random but also awesome is that they have Birch Beer on their soda tap. Not many local places have it, but they do!
Some recommends: They use Boars Head meats and cheeses for all their cold cut subs so anything you get is going to be delicious! I absolutely LOVE their tuna. On a regular cold sub or in a tuna melt, however you want it… they’ll make it. Their Cuban sandwich and meatball sub are DYNAMITE! Get creative. Just because they have subs on their menu doesn’t mean they won’t deviate from that for you. They probably have everything you could possibly think of to put on a sub!
Sharpie’s is one of those places that you wish there were more locations because it’s so good but you also want to keep it just as your special local secret to take people to and call it «your special secret sub place»! Definitely a fan for life!

I walked in after 12 and the place was packed for lunch. About 25 people ahead of me but the line moved fast. It’s a tiny place but the atmosphere was old school deli sandwich shop. The pace was fast when ordering so be ready when they ask you questions.
I ordered a classic 8″ cold turkey and American cheese ($ 7.99). They have lots of toppings to choose from. I went with wheat vs white. I was a little nervous about this decision because I normally get white bread so I wasn’t sure how this would affect the overall taste.
That first bite was magical. The bread was super fresh and soft and wasn’t overpowering like some wheat breads taste. The boars head turkey and American cheese topped with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, black pepper, with a dash of oil and vinegar actually reminded me of the sub I get at publix. And we all know how good those subs are!
After eating there I realized why they are a 4 star company and the place was packed! Excellent lunch and would recommend!

I sometimes think sandwiches are the easiest thing in the world to get right. If you have great bread and great meat then you are 90% of the way there. Since most respectable sandwich shops (like Sharpie’s) are using Boar’s Head meats then the map is pretty much laid out for you. Sharpie’s knows how to stick to the map and it makes you wonder how so many competitors get lost. Sharpie’s provides fresh bread with crispy veggies and a generous portion of quality meats to make an excellent sandwich. All of this is served by a friendly staff for a fair price in the $ 8 range for 8″ sub. I have had a variety of sandwiches there, Turkey, Roast Beef, Italian, Tuna and all of them have been quite good. However, they have nothing in their formula that elevates them to the greatness of their most obvious sandwich rival LaSpada.
One downside to their quality is that they can get extremely busy. If you go there during the lunch rush you will probably have to wait at least 15 minutes for a sandwich. Also, they use the horseradish kind of deli mustard so if that is not your thing you may want to stick to the regular mustard.

Big Fan already. I love the service and the sandwiches are delish. I have ordered the tuna, italian, turkey. Staff is very friendly and always packed (especially around lunch time) Small place in a strip mall hidden from the main road. I only heard about it from Unilocal.Thanks Unilocal

Sharpie’s Hoagies of Sawgrass is my new go-​to place for sandwiches. They offer Boar’s Head lunchmeat and it’s reasonably priced. I ordered an 8″ Italian on white. My boyfriend ordered a 12″ roast beef on white. Both subs were huge, I would recommended sharing with someone. The bread was really soft and fresh. I also tried the homemade potato salad. This was the best homemade potato salad I’ve ever had.
Not to mention, the place was very clean.
Usually my go-​to place for sandwiches is either LaSpadas or Deli Boys, but now it’s Sharpie’s. It’s very comparable to taste and it’s cheaper.
