Dr. Llewellyn is professional. I have been going to the Sunrise office for many years. He is thorough and takes the time to explain every facet of the procedure (s) done during the appointment. His staff is friendly and accommodating. The office is comfortable and nicely appointed. Technologically, he has the latest equiment. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr, Llewellyn.

I just called to find out the cost of an eye exam for contacts only and to make an appointment. When I called, I was told that the Doctor’s policy is to do both, an exam for glasses and contacts, not just contacts. The cost for the eyeglass exam (which I do not need) is $ 125 and then the exam for the contacts which is another $ 125. In total, I would have to pay $ 250 just to get the prescription for contacts. I reiterated that I do not need glasses as I have my glasses and only use my contacts for the most part.
This place forces you to pay for additional services and sells you on things you do not need. Very unethical. I would not recommend a place that forces customers to make unnecessary purchases.
I just called Clear Vision Center of South Florida in Plantation, I got outstanding customer service over the phone and their charge for contact lenses exam is $ 59. Now this is a place that cares and does not force their customer to pay for additional unnecessary exams.

I have been going to Dr. Llewellyn for about 7 years since he was at the office in Miramar, and now I go to the Sunrise office where he is as well. He’s the best! The office is very professional– it’s clean, runs smoothly, and the workers are very friendly. Great experience everytime!

I have been going here for over 10 years, basically since Dr. Daniel Llewellyn opened the location. The doctor and staff have always been professional and knowledgeable.

My kids and I have been coming to this eye care center for a couple of years. The staff is always nice and friendly. The wait time to see a doctor is always reasonable.

Been going here since 2007 and I have to say that I am still satisfied with the service I receive here. The office is very nice, comfortable, well maintained. The front desk staff is friendly, well trained and efficient.
Dr. Dan is the Optometrist and is very knowledgable and does a great job explaining to you what he is doing and very patient answering all your questions. spectacle also have a nice selection of glasses the staff that is well trained and will patiently show you glasses and give you a cost break down. If you are looking for an organized well trained Optometrist office give them a chance.

Spectacles Family Eyecare is the best place I’ve ever been, I’ve been coming here for three years in a row. Dr Daniel L. Is so kind and professional, any question you ask is always answered with more information than you expect.
I never felt rushed or uncomfortable, the entire staff is so kind and helpful.
Every year they are friendlier and kind when caring for my eye care needs, they also have a large selection in eye glasses… More than I’ve seen in other eye care places.

Dr. Llewellyn has been ‘my’ eye doctor for quite a few years now. He is consistently thorough while being friendly and concerned. He is really on top of the latest information and gives many options when advising me.
I not only highly recommend him but I recommend him often.

these people never follow up, they always have an excuse, they make you wait forever just because they are helping another customer even if you are just picking up a box of contacts.

Dr. Llewellyn and his office staff are always professional and courteous. Dr. Llewellyn takes the time to explain everything in terms that are easy to understand and never rushes through his appointments. I have been visiting his office for several years now, and I have never had any problems or complaints.
