Always a treat eating here! The sushi is delicious and fresh. Definitely a must if your in the area.

I love leaving reviews for places that actually strive to do well. Sushigami goes above and beyond to make your first and repeat offense sushi experiences great. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Both the location here in sawgrass and the one in the Florida mall in Orlando are great!

Listen for mall sushi this place is pretty great but what really sold me is the EXCELLENT customer service! Everyone kept making sure I was doing well and the second I looked up if I needed something I had someone’s attention. Very attentive. Will eat here again when I’m at the mall

Let me first start off by saying raw fish is very delicate. If not kept in a cold climate or not handled properly be prepared to ingest food born illnesses. The staff at this location are mostly young adults. Are they trained in serve safe? Probably not… Anyways the sushi is expensive because you only get four slices instead of a regular normal eight piece roll. So if you order a sushi roll you only get half of that roll the rest of the pieces are put on a conveyor belt. The selection is pretty grim nothing to talk about. The Sushi plates are color coated, the more extravagant the sushi the more expensive. Therefore each color plate has a different price. However putting a few nuts on top of a JB roll doesn’t really count for me as extravagant. So why two stars? Well while I was ordering they have this rice machine. As I was placing my order this gentleman was placing rice into the machine. Some of the rice fell off. You would think he would throw that away… Nope picked it up placed it right back in the machine. So think about if this kid is doing that what other food laws are they breaking to serve half a roll of sushi? Think about it people this is a tourist destination, heavy foot traffic… People come from all over the world. This small sushi is placed smack in the middle. What do you think happens when you have people sneezing and coughing in the mall?

Love the conveyor belt idea. Modern, friendly staff, and great selection to chose from in the menu. Had the marshmallow spring rolls for dessert and absolutely loved it!

I’ve never been to a place like this before, so trying something out like a conveyor belt sushi bar is new to me. This place is not over priced like a lot of people are saying. The most expensive are large portions of four pieces of sushi/roll that are topped to the highest point of the cover that is placed on top of the plate. But of course, since it’s in a mall of all places DONOT expect authentic Japanese/Chinese/Thai cuisine. Like… It’s a mall… It’s not gonna provide authentic cuisine of any sorts. So do not get your hopes up. $ 6 for four rolls that are topped highly, making it 1.50 for each piece. Sounds fine to me. It’s also very tasty. I love the volcano roll! For the thing about the employees having access to water; they’re wrong as well. I’m sitting right where I can see them making the food. There are only three people making the food, and none of them touch anything EXCEPT the food and the machines to make the food. They DO have access to water, and have been seeing the employees switch out gloves and wash hands. The makers are cleanly. They are not contaminating anything here. The service is a little slow, but that’s expected since its in the middle of a busy busy BUSY mall. Good thing there are buzzers for service though! Everyone is super friendly, especially if you are friendly to them. I’ve visited twice in one day, and I don’t regret it at all. This place is good. Only people in the food industry can see the real problems here.

I loved the idea of revolving sushi bar. They had a roll with sweet potato that I really loved. It was great being able to shop and then grab a quick bite without leaving the mall. Great for grab and go!

I have eaten here a number of times. I am not a Sushi snob, so to me the sushi is decent. I really like the combinations with sweet potato. The conveyor belt is pretty cool and the service is great once you get the flow of it. They have buttons at each station where you can summon your wait staff. My last experience today I got sushi to go. 4 rolls for under $ 20. I give Sushigama 4 stars.

The food is good. Fresh and I love their selection. Some really unique sushi rolls. Unfortunately service is pretty horrible. Slow service and staff is extremely slow.

I like it because it is simple and you can either pick up or just place your order it is fresh… and, you don’t have to worry about anything… why 5 stars even though it is like fast food Japanese. Well it is clean and open and very inexpensive And most important you eat enough

Small and over price sushi. They’re not even great. The Japanese roll around idea is great but please at least serve good sushi over here! *sigh* This is a disappoint sushi in my life.

Sushi was good, the salmon selections especially. It’s kind of an optical illusion though because although it seems like there’s a lot of sushi, there really isn’t a lot of selection. Their soup was very good, and service was fast.

Good and quick sushi spot at the Sawgrass Mills outlet mall. Plates are presented on a conveyor belt, which is similar to Flying ninja in no a or Katana in North Bay Village. The sushi was fresh and they offered a nice variety of rolls. I’d suggest some but have no idea what the names were. One had a dot of spicy wasabi mayo over a tuna-topped roll that was pretty tasty. The food was reasonably priced and convenient.

If you are at sawgrass mall and would like a snack it is worth to check out. They have a conveyer belt that moves plates of sushi around the restaurant. Each plate had a color to represent the price. The price ranges from 3.50−6.00 $ There is a waiter and they will bring you your drink order and a menu. You can order from the menu as well. Each plate of sushi is four pieces which is smaller than the average roll. It is located in phase three of the mall next to its sugar.

Surprisingly good, fresh tasting sushi. Friendly service and doesn’t really get faster than having it cart around right in front of you. I have two complaints, one is, that even though the fish tasted good, the avocado was clearly already turning and brown. Also they don’t put their whole menu on the turn table. They only had like 5 different sushis rotating around, and of course they are the more expensive ones. They are willing to make it for you, but it defeats the whole purpose of shopping and dining on the go. I’d like to see more options rotating around. Iv been meaning to try this stop for a while and glad that I did, will do this again next time I’m here

Let me first tell you an amazing deal for sushi, if you wait until 10 pm all sushi’s plates cost $ 1 dollar. The volcano was my favorite, bittersweet taste. The service is not that good, some waiters are super nice other ones are not. But if you get the deal for 1 dollar its worth every cent.

While taking my aunt and uncle visiting from the Philippines out to Sawgrass mall to shop, we were looking for a place to have our«merienda»(Filipino for«snack-time»). In front of Forever 21 was this big area with sushi rolling through a conveyor belt. Ah, so this is what Sushigami is. Ranging from $ 3 – 6 are color-coded plates of sushi and appetizers. Since this was my very first converyor-belt dining experience, I was initially in awe of all the sushi going around. Although I’ve had better sushi, I was glad my family seemed to enjoy the experience as well. What makes this place unique from other sushi places I’ve been to(aside from the obvious sushi-in-motion concept) is that they offer taiyaki, which is a Japanese dessert that is in the shape of a fish. It’s usually a cake filled with red bean, but this taiyaki I had had strawberry sauce and ice cream. I’ve always wanted to try taikyaki so it was a pleasant treat to end my dining experience at Sushigami. Overall, if you want a quick bite, I say it’s a good spot(just know the better plates are in the upper end of the price range so it’s easy to spend $ 12 on 2 plates of sushi of 3 – 4 pieces each, so you might as well look into the full menu if you want bigger dishes), and I recommend getting taiyaki if you crave a sweet treat. I’ve yet to try out the full menu, but I’d come again if I want a light lunch.

Think about it! This place is located in the middle of a mall. There is no running water and these employees have no access to water to wash their hands! I went to this restaurant the other day. It was just convenient since I was at the Sawgrass. First, the waitress asked me what I wanted to drink. I responded water. She brought me a bottled water which I had to pay for $ 2.50. I didn’t mind paying… But, she should have asked if I still wanted. The gyoza was deep fried. In their menu, the gyoza looked like pan fried of even steamed, I asked the waitress«Are these deep fried?» Because if I knew they will serve me the deep fried gyoza, I didn’t order it. She said«this is what we have!» and turned around. They do not want to hear your complain. They just put things on your table and turn around! The service is terrible! We also ordered udon. I don’t understand how somebody even can make udon so terribly! I am Japanese… and this place makes us look bad. These are not authentic Japanese food. The waitress checked up on us once… asking how we are doing. I was kind of making my face trying to show her I was not happy. But, of course, she didn’t care. She didn’t want to talk to me. I will never go back to this place. The publix sushi is much much better than this place!

First time. It’s actually pretty cool to try out. I just never really tried it before even though I’m at sawgrass all the time and also because I don’t like sushi. This is literally situated right across forever21 in the middle of the mall. Mostly high chairs for seats and probably about 3 of 4 booth seats. You sit anywhere you’d like and get started. I really love the concept. You grab whatever you like from the conveyor belt that goes around. Food already made! No waiting on no one. There’s just something mesmerizing I guess about food placed on different colored pastel plates on a moving conveyor belt. Looked like a mini sushi factory. Felt like I was in a real life Japanese food and time management game. The color of the plate signifies the price of the food. I personally thought the prices were pretty affordable and reasonable. Ranging from $ 3.00– 6ish. Their most popular one was the crab salad sushi. I had it and it was delicious. You can’t miss it. It’s like a mountain of shredded crab«meat» and stuff lol on top of sushi. Overall it was cool. definitely encourage it.

4.5 stars! I really, really like this place a lot. This is my go to place when I want a quick Sushi fix. What more can you ask for fresh Sushi going around on a coveryor belt and the plate are priced according to the color of the plate. You really have to take your time and order wisely because what seem like a cheap value can add up to be a pretty pricy meal, or you spending more than you expected real fast. I have been here three times and I usually stay under $ 20 and leave pretty satisfied. Not only do they have the rolls going around on the belt, but they have a full menu of soups, other rolls, desserts and small entrees. If you want good sushi, fast and willing to brave the chaos at Sawgrass give this spot a try. It is located in the center of the Mall across from Forever 21. So if you go in near Bed Bath and Beyond I think it is you will be close to spot.
