Decent yogurt and great toppings. Not satisfied with the customer service. Last time I went three of the yogurt machines were out if service and there were ants crawling all over the wall by the yogurt. Lazy staff was sitting at the cashier eating sushi next to the toppings while customers walked in and out.

The yogurt here is decent. I only tried the blueberry and the original tart flavor. The blueberry was too icy. The tart was on point and there were plenty of toppings from fresh fruit to liquid marshmallow. Expensive though! I spent $ 8.

A long day at work had me craving for some froyo, and I could not settle for a store bought imitation or real ice cream. I needed to make a big, chocolately, fruity, nutty and syrupy messthe way I like it, and this was the only thing on my home not TCBY(which should be call YUCK by the way). This place is on the northern side of Saw grass mills, close to one of the food courts there. I wondered if I’d be happier stopping at the Haagen-daz that’s on the way there, but I did not trust the employees there to make me something big enough, given the crowd of tourist waiting. Seeing as how the self-serve goodness was only a few doors down, I decided to put up with masses of South American tourists and retail employees for a little longer and give this place a try. I get there after walking past a perfume store that had more employees than perfumes, and a kiosk selling some sort of steam device that might be used for ironing clothes, but was probably a paperweight rejected from an as-seen-on-TV-commercial. The store is surprisingly small and the selection of flavors and toppings is too. All part of the madness that is Saw Grass Mills, I suppose. It’s a standard selection of flavors. Same for the toppings. They had a bottle of Nutella there, which is pretty cool, but everything else was what you would expect. I also give them credit for having hot chocolate sauce. The yogurt isn’t bad, but it’s hard to enjoy it on a busy day at the mall. It’s a small space, and it’s quite crowded. There is barely enough room to serve yourself, and forget about any chairs. The employees weren’t exactly thrilled about working there either, but who would be excited about making minimum wage to give tourists frozen yogurt samples? Good on them for having a self serve place in a ball, but it’s actually nothing to write home about. They could have done something much cooler, but then again I’m sure it makes plenty as it is.

I am more and more becoming a fan of self serve frozen yogurt. The quality of these places is quickly catching up to served frozen yogurt places and with the perk of being cheaper. Here, they ration how many tastings a customer can get before buying frozen yogurt. They actually have a person standing guard. Flavors I recommend are Original, Lychee, and Strawberry. Their original is definitely a worthy original flavored yogurt. I always say if a place has a good original frozen yogurt then they know what they are doing. Here, they know what they are doing. FINALVERDICT: Tutti Frutti Froyum
