Let me 1st start off by saying this is not a high dining establishment, actually I don’t know how to describe it. Not a diner since it doesn’t open till 4PM sort of like eating dinner in someone’s Home. A Mom & Pop establishment with old china closets plastic table cloths, booths and a quick serving home style meal. Atmosphere is minimal but the menu is diverse. Beer and wine only and only House wine and a couple of imported beers and that is it. Recommended by a friend 4 of us sat down for fast & furious meal that really was surprisingly good on all counts. Menu is short on appetizers but you don’ t need them and the house specials are on the chalk board of this 49 seat place when you walk in. Immediately presented with complimentary potato pancakes which are deep fried well done but soft inside and extremely tasty. All entrees come with choice of soup — corn chowder or spicy lobster bisque or House salad. The Corn chowder was a bit bland and a little watery but the lobster bisque was full of flavor & spice. Salads were cold & crisp with a nice blue cheese dressing. All entrees also come with choice of various sides which I’ll address shortly. Entrees: Wiener Schnitzel…$ 13.95 Your standard pounded veal cutlet served with side of brown gravy & lemons. Portion was enormous enough for two. Cutlets were thin, fresh, hot & flavorful while the brown gravy was an excellent touch. Veal Gordon Blue…$ 13.95 Stuffed with Ham & cheese with the same brown sauce as above. If you like the cheese and carbs this is the way to go top notch. Chicken Cacciatore…$ 13.95 Hungarian version of this Italian specialty with peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomato sauce. Bites of chicken were a bit small but otherwise dish was tasty. and fresh. Shrimp with garlic and lemon & onions …$ 17.95 small shrimp tails on smothered in a tasty sauce. Aside from fighting with the tails on very small shrimp the sauce was incredible rich and excellent. Sides: Spetzle, Really not sure what this was some sort of mushy white pasta. LOL but it was utterly flavorless. Sorry this one failed. Sweet Potato ¼ size of a Jumbo hot and fresh Yellow Rice was well yellow rice. :) Home Fried Potato’s were pretty good but could have used some seasoning. Red Cabbage in a spicy sour cream sauce was very good. Creamed spinach was also in a sour cream based sauce that was ok. Deserts: Coffee was HOTFRESH and tasty Home made: Apple Strudel & Ice Cream was positively sinful Home Made Crêpe was just OK. All and all service was fast and professional family run, and food for price points was off the charts. Nothing fancy here just down home good food in a non descript strip mall. I’ll be back when in the area.

This is a wonderful Hungarian restaurant. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in South Florida. Don’t forget to reserve. They get cranky when you don’t.
