Chevron

Okay so the Chevron website claims this station is in «Sunset Beach».
Except that the zip code is Haleiwa’s and «Sunset Beach» is a BEACH and a SURF SPOT and NOT a city.
Whatevs.
This is your only choice for gas on the North Shore. Kahuku doesn’t count as «North Shore» and the neither does the other station in Haleiwa proper.
Don’t look around for a «cheaper» gas station. This is your only bastion of fossil fueled transport available. Therefore, one sucks it up and pays the price. I don’t find the price all that exorbitant given that I am from San Francisco. We pay at LEAST this much for gas at substandard stations and likely more for Chevron.
The personnel who work here are friendly and there’s a huge section for parking near the free air and water.
Why the loss of one star?
NO BEER!
An ice cold beer or wine cooler would be SO refreshing after laying on the beach soaking up rays. Or buying lunch/​dinner at Ted’s Bakery and then grabbing some alcoholic beverages here to accompany it would be appreciated.
Besides, EVERYONE knows that gas + alcohol = FUN
