Surf Liquor is an institution in Sunset Beach. We’re in here daily for groceries and Mark and Leo are wonderful. They’re also incredibly nice to our dog, Rosie, who is obsessed with Leo.

They have a fantastic wine selection! All kinds and prices. Collectible and some to just take home for the night and enjoy. Mark the owner is very knowledgable about his selections and is great with picking something out you will love

Watch your wallet! The Secretary of State of California has no record of Marc Hammad– self designated owner of Surf Liquor. Under this guise I loaned Surf Liquor over $ 25,000. Marc Hammad personally filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy July, 2013 and listed me as a creditor. This was my retirement money for which I have worked all my life. He was also, for years, a personal friend of our family joining us for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Go figure! Walk backwards away from this one!

Mark may not always have everything you want, but he will try his best to help you find what you need. He will even make special orders. He goes out of his way for his customers and is a really friendly guy. He’s always got decent prices and plenty of specials too.
