Assured Home Inspections

Bill Williams is where its at when it comes to home inspection. When we purchased our home in June of 2008 our agents tried to push THEIR inspectors on us. I asked around and wanted to find the BEST. I was recommended to Assured Home Inspections and after a 10 minute conversation on the phone with Bill, I knew he’d be sure to look into every nook and cranny in our 99 year old home. My agents asked who we chose and when I told them Bill Williams they sighed. I asked if there was a problem and they said, «Well, he’s just so detailed — he feels the need to not ever burnt out lighbulb and minor blemish. He’s just hard to work with as agents because then people want to ask for a million fixes on houses.»
I was reassured that I chose the right person! I wanted to know about every blemish! Isn’t that the whole point of hiring a professional home inspector?!
I wasn’t able to be present at the inspection which was very nerve wracking but Bill put me at ease. He called me right after he completed, he let me know that he’d email me the report within a day and then we’d go over every point of the report and that’s exactly what happened.
After going through the report, I asked him «Would you buy this house?» because it IS a 99 year old house that had a lot of deferred maintenence — he said, «Not only would I buy this house but I’d let my daughter buy this house».
Bill is personal while maintaining his professional position. He certainly does not miss a single item in the house. He even noted things that didn’t necessarily need to be FIXED but was going to need to be addressed in the coming years.
He is just by far the very best inspector out there!
