Being a sucker for thrifty things, the first thing I did when entering Superior, WI was to check out the local vintage & consignment stores in the area. This one popped up & happened to be quite close to my luncheon spot of choice(The Anchor Bar) so it was an obvious go to. There are a decent selections of almost anything you’re looking for, i.e. board games, clothes, hats, dishes, broaches, books, movies, and more! There were two racks of FREE clothes the owner was looking to get rid of, however most seemed pretty picked though. I didn’t manage to take any with me, yet I was tempted to take a few for the good ol’ dress up box. I did however score some silk scarves for $ 3 a pop! I was tempted to buy them all, yet controlled myself. There was quite the selection of funky patterns and different sizes. Additionally, the bf took home some shot glasses(one with a cute mouse & a hunk of cheese) and some oldie board games. Stratego & a «Big Business» esque version of monopoly, totaling around $ 8 for both. I REALLY wanted to get my hands on this black silk dress stand for $ 50, however the owner wasn’t selling as it was how she displayed all of her broaches and pins. If you are in the area, like thrift shopping, & have $ 10 in your pocket, this is a definite place you want to check out for some goodies!
