While I do like this place and I’ve e been here a number of times — I have issues with the older woman with the Dorothy Hamill haircut.
I don’t know if she’s the owner or just an employee but I do know one thing — she’s annoyed that people even come into the place. She’s the most unfriendly, indifferent — invisible person I’ve ever come across when trying to purchase something. Just making eye contact is an impossible task.
Good thing she’s hired someone else to work the counter.

Great little store, lots of delicious cheeses. Knowledgeable staff to help and answer with questions. Other beautiful items to purchase as gifts or souvieners. We love to get a few different cheeses, meat and crackers for a picnic on the beach.

I’d like to consider myself somewhere between a cheese fan and enthusiast, frankly because cheese is just amazing.
Strangely enough, I always forget that this place is here until I pass by, and I just have to go in!
Cheese for snacking, cheese for munching, cheese for spreading, cheese for lunch! You’ll always discover something new and delicious here, so I highly recommend if you have a box of lonely crackers, a loaf of lonely bread, or are simply in need of some straight up cheese, you pay this store a visit.
I might just do that today as well!
Check out their selection of soft cheeses. And while they don’t have the largest selection of hard cheeses, for a s small shop on a vacation island like LBI, this place rocks it. Great selection of gourmet items (olive oil, marinades, etc) too.
