I went here and the food is good. However, there’s a reason why this is a one star. I saw the owner, «Tony», drop a calzone fresh out the oven onto the floor and put it back onto a plate. Order’s up. I saw it went out. I was disgusted. This place hasn’t changed one bit, it’s still run like garbage. The owner seems to treat his staff terribly, it does not seem like anyone has a clue what is going on, and everyone is yelling at each other. This is not how you start a business. I will not be coming back here again.

Awesome pizza and super service. Everything fresh and tasty. Our server, Renee, was so nice to us and she was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Can’t wait to return.

Gone there for dinner twice now and both meals were excellent. The eggplant Parmesan was wonderful and the eggplant was absolutely the star. The Italian sausage Parmesan was a great side with pasta cooked perfectly. The pizza was also very good. The staff is friendly and no pressure for you to finish and run. Very relaxed. We will return again soon.

Looking forward to Anthony’s reopening. Great spot for family dinners or grabbing a quick beer. Hopefully the new(original?) owners can clean it up and bring it back to life!

We ordered a large«pan» pizza tonight,. And $ 21 plus change later found it to be one of the worse pizzas we’ve EVER had! The crust was tough, burnt on the edges, along with stale gredients and non-flavorable sause. It’s pretty hard to ruin a pizza, but they succeeded. I will say the person who took our order and the delivery lady were both very friendly /helpful, just the product was really bad… esp for that price.(I would have been fine with the price if the product was worth it)

I despise writing negative reviews, as I always try to find some good in every place, however, there are exceptions. Anthony’s is a local jaunt, frequently advertised on the radio. I have lived in the neighborhood for several years and finally decided to give them a try. I arrived at about noon, during the week. There were two tables with people, and I sat at the bar to place my take out order. A man behind the counter offered me a drink, while he was cleaning bottles behind the counter. I had asked for a slice to go. He asked if I wanted anything on it and I responded no, just a regular slice. This man continued to clean liquor bottles behind the counter. I thought there might be a fresh pie cooking and he was waiting for it to come out of the oven. I continued to wait, until a woman entered, and apologized for my wait, as she had to make a call. The man, still wiping the bottles told her that I wanted a slice, while he barely moved from where I first found him. He then told her, while he was pouring a glass of wine, that they were out of the wine, and that she needed to go to the liquor store or Food Lion to get more. I’m still waiting for my slice. Still no one entered the kitchen yet to retrieve a slice of pizza for me. The woman went over to a table and began chatting with them, very friendly and took their orders. Then she proceeded into the kitchen and I hoped she was warming my slice. I was ready to walk out. Finally, the man gave me a small box with my slice and I asked him how much. He responded, wait a minute. After about 2 minutes, he told me $ 1.79 and I handed him $ 2.00. He then took my money and turned away and then said, «Oh, I mean $ 1.97». I picked up my slice and left. Thank goodness I finally got out of there, I went home and opened the box. My slice was lukewarm and tasteless. I tried another bite and then a third, just in case the spices happened to miss one area of my slice, but there was no spice. It tasted like someone opened a can of Redpack tomatoes and poured it over pizza dough, with mozzarella on top. I know I’m a bit jaded, being formerly from LI, NY, however this was absolutely the worst pizza I’ve had in my life. The service was miserable, just as miserable as the slice. I will never go there again and suggest you don’t either.

Had pizza there before and it was good. This time sorry to say horrible. I ordered takeout. Tasted like it was taken out of the fridge and reheated. Dry, no taste. Wings, the worst I’ve had in Myrtle Beach. Food went into garbage. Very disappointed. I’m a local and not going back!

Based on the other reviews, I wasn’t expecting much. I came on a nasty rainy day for lunch and found them empty. Ordered a meatball parm and the gf ordered a calzone. Both were decent — not great but nothing to complain over. Just typical Americanized Italian food Service was outstanding and the place was clean. Portions were well more than enough. Two lunches with one beer set me back $ 30+ though. There are nicer places with better lunch menus in that price range. In fact, the tea costs here what beer costs in the rest of this town and the one bottle of beer was $ 4. Maybe I’m being cheap though.

Not much good to say about Anthony’s. Pizza was very low quality with a pretty high price. Little Caesars would have been a couple of steps UP from the pizza that was delivered to me from Anthony’s. All in all, probably will never go there again.

Fries were mushy and cold. The steak sandwich came with more bun and onion than anything else. The chips were way over cooked and burnt. Definitely a disappointment.

We have been coming here for years and now that we live here, we’ve probably visited 20+ times. The pizza and wings are always delicious and the prices are beyond reasonable. Wait staff is always very pleasant with fast service.

This place is a nightmare. I went here like 3 – 4 years ago, and remember the place was empty and I ordered 2 small pizzas and it took forever to get them. Figured I would give it a shot and went back recently. Again it took over an hour and a half to receive 2 small pizzas. The waitress must of made a mistake and forgot to put our order in. Instead of rushing it when she realized, she just made us wait. Pizza is like on a wafer they get next door at Food Lion. I think people just come here for the cheap beer, that’s why it sometimes seems crowded. The pizza and service are horrible. Just get a Red Baron frozen pizza and throw it in the oven at home, same thing.

My husband and i went to this place for some Italian food. Ordered Chicken Parm. They were out of it. Changed order to Pizza and Eggplant Parm. Out of eggplant too. This was at 6pm on Friday night. Waitress apologized, manager apologized, but made no attempt to satisfy us or stop us from leaving. We left, and we will never return. This is a place that wants to crank out Pizza and sandwiches. They should run a Domino’s franchise. The management has no clue how to run a restaurant, or they just don’t care.

Food was excellent and fresh. If you’re getting pizza make sure you ask how long it will will take bc we waited 30 min for a 12″ pie. :(

Small pizzeria in a strip mall that packs big flavor! One of our regular haunts here at the beach. The service is great, the place is clean, and the pies rock! They have a full bar, also.
