This was a great barber shop experience. I got great value and an awesome experience. Aramis Amor was awesome– go see him, it’s well worth it! I high recommend this for a great hair cut, close shave, the works.

I was there today to get a shave and a trim. The gentleman that was there was Manny. This person was fantastic. I am extremely picky with shaves; I have been to places that charge considerably more that give you a fraction of the service I received. I have had many shaves over the years and have never experienced one that was so masterful. My only negative is that it’s a cash only business.

I called ahead for an appointment but when I arrived nobody was available to cut my hair. So I sat for ten minutes and a Latin lady came to tell me a woman would cut my hair when she finished with the guy that just sat down when I walked in. I had to walk out and leave. That’s why I called for an appointment. So I wouldn’t have to wait 30 – 45 minutes on lunch. At least she was polite. But they didn’t get the job done and have lost my business and recommendations for good. Sorry.

I usually go to a Barber across the street but they were closed on a recent Sunday when I needed to go on a business trip the next day, so I tried this one out. Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever had. It seemed OK when I left although it took a while and the Barber went on about«product» over and over again. I never use any product in my hair so after I washed it out and tried to comb it in place I was horrified. He had actually managed to cut divots into my head. the sides were too long and so it stood off my head like bozo the clown. the crown had one big divot which when the wind blew caused my crown to form a wave, more like a tsunami wave… and I had to fly to China the next day for meetings and presentations… well I suppose the Chinese figure there is one more thing they can produce better and cheaper than the Americans ;-) So if you want to spend an hour listening to stories and hair product comparisons maybe this is the place for you — but if you need a decent haircut avoid this place — at least on Sundays when there is only one barber on duty. Today I sought out another shop and they had to perform«corrective hair surgery» — she actually showed me the uneven snips this guy made when she combed through the hair!

Leave it to ol’ Manny for rad cuts and all. He’ll go on lengths about Free Trade societies and then leave you with a cheeky mullet that even the Rezillos wish they had sported. Manny even does women hair, but if you’re an alternative-chick-type, maybe that’s something you should ponder on first. Manny comes from the School of Hard Knocks: The New York Dolls-era. That’s enough to win my trust. He has a no-tolerance for clipping off a man’s neck hair, so don’t ask. «That’s the foundation, you shouldn’t cut that.» I’ll leave this review with no pun, but go and ask for Manny. Oh, and cash only!

Cool old school barber… The Barber took his time & did his best but he Didn’t do what I asked. He seemed like he was ticked the whole time… My hair was about 4 – 5 in long & I asked just for a trim«just a little» «un paquito», maybe it’s because he didn’t speak english but he basically shaved the back of my head before I could say anything. It’s now at a1″… Wasn’t the best experience… But for 25 cash it’s not the worst either…

I found my new barber, these guys pay very close attention to detail, they do the full straightedge on the neck and earline. Very well done, and I will be back!

This place is the best place to get your hair did in the surfside area. There is nothing better than going to a barber who actually puts effort into cutting your hair. I see Alfredo here and he does the most meticulous job, complete with straight blade razor neck shave… I never really cared how my hair was done because I just have a it shaved but it does look much better when the person knows what they are doing. It is a tad on the pricey side but c’mon man this is Surfside! I pay 2017 $ for the cut and 3 $ tip for my main main with the stache– Alfredo!
