I was referred to this tanning salon by Desired Physiques fitness. The manager Dallas give me a voucher for a free tan. I was extremely impressed once I first step foot into this tanning salon. Jamaca me tan has everything in here! I love love the way they have it set up here. The gals at the front desk seem nice and bubbly which is very nice. I was excited to hear that since I was referred by Desired Physiques Fitness I get a nice discount for a membership! I am looking for word to getting my tan on here. Gotta get my Vitamin D! :)

I actually gave this place several chances over 4 years as there was always turnover in staff and ownership. Finally got fed up when they couldnt even keep solution in the UV free tanning machine. I always seemed to get the last few squirts of solution which did not give that even spray tan on front and back. Then the staff would refuse to credit back the session until more solution could be ordered. Most of the beds are not quality beds. Sorry I just dont recommend wasting your time or money with this place. More alternatives in surprise.

GOSOMEWHEREELSE! My nightmare with Jamaca Me Tan began last Sept. when my husband was transferred to Luke Air Force Base. First I signed a 6 month contract which included all of the beds(except the insanely overpriced spaceship-one) plus the spray tanning. It took 2 weeks of me repeatedly fighting with the uninformed airheads at the front desk to be able to use the spray tanning, supposedly bc I signed an old contract and my package wasn’t supposed to include spray tanning. They had discontinued that special but had forgot to replace the contracts. If you have any problems, they have a strict policy of not releasing ANY phone numbers of the upper management team or a corporate office(probably bc they don’t have one) so you have to email through their poorly constructed, and obscure website to people with email addresses that end with«@yahoo.com». I was finally granted the right to the spray tan after I threatened that they were breaching the contract and I would take legal action. After it was fixed, 2 weeks later I went into tan and the entire front desk team had been replaced supposedly bc all of the previous employees had quit all at once. These«employees» had no idea about my situation with the tanning, the computer hadn’t been updated about my situation or my contract so I went through the entire exercise with a new group of huffy airheads that seem to actually enjoy arguing in front of other customers. And here is the cherry on top… in December we moved and I went in with Dereck to have the accounts canceled, the girl at the front told me we would be better off freezing the contracts instead of canceling them bc the freeze would last 3 months and our contacts would expire under it. She assured me of this by leaving the freeze contract blank where it listed the date Jamaca Me Tan would begin debiting my account again. 3 months later… you guessed it… we were charged again. After climbing the email complaint tree for the 3rd time I finally reached the«CEO’s assistant, … or whatever» who would ignore us for 4 – 5 days at a time always promising that she would get back to us, finally denying us the refund. When I brought forth the contract with the blank date for the next debit and explained the story, she told me she would check with the«president». A few days later I was told that since they had no way of validating my claims they would not refund the money they had debited out, regardless of the contents of the contract because I had signed it. I filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB sent 3 letters to the company without ever getting a response, and wrote to me that this wasn’t the first complaint about the company and that they hadn’t responded to complaints in the past. In conclusion, just stay away from this company because it isn’t a company at all… I assure you of that. Whomever owns this overpriced, and corrupt concept knows nothing about business, retaining business, or customer service. Simply the fact that you have an issue, and the front desk clerk who is on the phone with«corporate» cannot give you the phone number or hand you the phone to speak with this«mystery person» who refuses to identify themselves, is the most incriminating clue as to the money grubbing dogma of this company. Trust me, you can find another tanning salon and save your time and money!
