There is nothing like buying the vegetables and fruits from a stand or directly from the farmer. Today, I stopped at Rousseau’s farm and bought sweet corn. The corn was only $ 6 for twelve ears. It was already inside a bag and you don’t have to pick and choose like in a grocery store. When I got home, pop one corn in the microwave and smothered butter all over it. It was very delicious! I couldn’t wait to eat some more.
I like supporting local farmers and if you have a chance; stop by one. Rousseau’s farm is open every summer.
