The Residences at Stadium Village

The office staff is horrible and rude. They demonstrate no customer service skills or compassion to people. We were idiots and forgot to pay rent on the 1^st, but paid it on the second. We have never been late in the 2 years we lived there. We paid our rent payment on the second & went into the office on the third to see about the late fees. Since we did not pay the late fees with the rent on the second they charged us for being 3 days late on rent, $ 150 for being 1 day late. Even if they have no choice in this matter & have to uphold this policy, at least be a nice person about it & don’t act like you enjoy doing it to people. Apartments are built poorly, could hear the people above us pee in their restroom. Repair work is shoddy. Apartment above ours flooded our bathroom and the wall had to be repaired. We had to ask him to come back because he left the wall soft. He came back & fixed this, but visible deformities on the wall thereafter. Roaches are all over the property & sidewalks. We had a lot of black widows & giant wolf spiders by our front door & closet, even after them spraying multiple times & leaf blowing the side walks. 50 people in the pool area on a regular basis and people partying loudly till 2AM. Parking situation is not good if you live by the main pool, you will have to park quite far if coming in after 6pm or 7pm. So glad we left this place, would not recommend to anyone.

Living at Stadium Village is about as awesome as things get. Walking access to amazing parks, playgrounds, library, swimming pool and of course the Spring Training facilities of the KC Royals and the Texas Rangers.
In addition, the staff is second to none. Reasonable, responsive, patient, and understanding. You don’t get more anywhere else.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Management is rude and unhelpful. When we first moved in we were told to report any damages. Well I guess they didnt notice the TWELVE broken blinds that collapse every time you try to touch them, EVERY pantry door comes unhinged when you open it, our bath faucet is about to fall off from lack of sealant, oh and this ones a bonus. Definitely don’t try to use your oven, because they don’t even take the time to clean them out. The first time we tried to cook we practically smoked ourselves out. Recently, the smoke alarms started randomly going off so I gave mgmnt a call and left a voicemail, it was early in the day so I figured I would walk down and let them know as well. When I got there a woman who sits to your immediate left quotes «okay we’ll put a work order in. Thanks, bye». Oh and if that didn’t change your mind, we FREQUENTLY hear the maintenence men making pervy comments about women in the pool area. I also hope they read this, because they have MAJOR staffing/​customer service issues.

The management at Stadium Village Apartments in Surprise, AZ is very unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. I would not reccomend that anyone would stay at these apartments purely based on the people you have to deal with.
