Worst Mexican dining experience in Oregon. If you want really bad service by condescending staff(see Austin Q’s, Tara C’s and Michael H comments below– it’s like that too) paired with cooks that have no idea what they are doing, this is your place. Otherwise avoid this I-5 disaster. We recently were there with a party of 14 including 12 adults and two older children. The server didn’t get our orders right, acted like he didn’t «comprehend» and then made very little effort to do anything right. We made a reservation, which they weren’t ready for and on and on and on. This is our third and final try. The last straw was, my brother added onion on his taco salad, it literally showed up with a whole onion. Wtf. See picture which is about to post.

Walked into the restaurant with wonderful aroma of well cooked food. The service was impeccable, and the food was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves really good Mexican food.

I’m about to come off a little racist, bare with me. I’m Mexican, I don’t speak Spanish but can understand it to an extent, my wife and sister in law do speak Spanish and they were with me. When you come to my table and speak Spanish as the waiter and know I don’t speak Spanish(they were told I don’t speak Spanish) that’s where it pisses me off. I understand that in an area where not to many people speak your language that you have a conversation in that language, that’s fine. It’s when we go through the whole meal without the waiters saying 1 thing to me because I don’t speak. Bitch, I’m paying, you can at least say 1 thing to me. Just saying. Food was great though, I would probably come back, sometimes I like to bitch in the moment cuz my wife don’t listen(she speaks Spanish so she doesn’t see what’s the problem). But next time at least ask me if I want more water in English so I don’t look like an idiot and have my wife answer for me. I’ll try to learn more Spanish and you speak the language that everyone at the table understands.

When we first moved here in 2006 this was where we went every Friday night. We have over time quit going as much as something has changed. The last three times it hasn’t been that great. Portion size is large something has change in the flavor.

Being from the bay area, California has way better mexican food than this place. I’ve been to this location a few different times over the years since I have family here, and everything I have ordered is always lacking flavor. The seafood is a joke, and not very good at all. I’ve seen a taco truck further down the way in the area and wondered how that was cuz usually they have the best food. But since this is Oregon, I doubt it. I will say this. …the employees are very nice so they get 4 stars for customer service, but the food… blah.

Passing through the 1 – 5 corridor and didn’t want fast food for lunch. Found this place just driving past. Way overpriced and blah –white people who are picky-Mexican food. The salsa wasn’t bad, but none of the other food had any good flavor. My 10 year old daughter resorted to dumping the pica de gallo for our chips, into her soup to give it some flavor. The person who gave the 5 star review has got to be related to the owners… if that’s the best Mexican in the area, I feel bad for the Roseburg/Sutherlin residents.

Do you like«Mexican» food where the lack of quality is made up for in quantity? Do you like chopped frozen carrots and peas in your rice? Do you miss that enchilada sauce from a can, just like mom used to make? Then visit Si Casa Flores! The only flavor is cheese. My vegetarian burrito didn’t include cheese, so it was just a huge monstrosity, filled with flavorless, barely-cooked vegetables! Yuck. The chips and salsa were good, though, as was the service. Hence the two stars.

Came here recently on a visit back into town. What I mentioned in my previous review still stands, but it definitely needs to be noted that the prices have gone up dramatically over these last few years. Seems like most dishes are at least $ 13, which isn’t terrible, but for Mexican food in small Oregon town, that’s a lot. Those bacon wrapped shrimp previously mentioned have moved up to something like $ 18 or $ 19 now. It’s a lot of food and it’s delicious, but almost $ 20 per plate in small town Oregon is like $ 30 per plate in a big city… and ain’t no one paying that much for Mexican food in the city. I still love you Si Casa, but your prices are killin me!

Bait and Switch!!! We had been here once before and the food was not bad, but our 04/30/2014 was anything but good. We came at lunch time. The menu shows several lunch items for $ 7.95 and up, it also listed three items as a lunch special for $ 5.95, this included enchilada, chili relleno and enchilada verde. The waiter came to take I order I said we would both like the lunch special, me the chili relleno, my wife stated she wanted the enchilada verde lunch special. Our food arrive promptly. My chili relleno was dried out on the edges, my wife’s enchilada was soggy on the bottom will barely any verde sauce. I had a business commitment in Eugene so decided to make the best of it. When the bill arrived they had charge $ 5.95 for my lunch, but charged $ 7.95 for my wife’s. I questioned the bill stating we both asked specifically for the lunch special, the waiter said, «no, you ordered the normal lunch at the higher price». I kept insisting we had ordered the lunch special, the waiter said, «what, you want me to loose money?» I suggested he clarify with the guest before up-selling to the higher price, he said, «I don’t have to, I can do what I want». The food was below standards, likely old and we got over charged. Yeah, its a lousy $ 2, but it come down to lousy food and a business clearly up-selling(Bait/Switch) customers. We will NEVER return, ever!

Mexican food the way most gringos like it! Very nice surprise for dinner. Recommended by the BW hotel staff across i-5. Chips and Salsa. Very good. The chunkier«pico de gallo» version was hot — lots of fresh jalapeño. I loved it — others might think it too hot. I had the Molcajete — Served in a regular(but big!) bowl — every time I get this dish at restaurants its a little different. I enjoyed it. Chicken/Beef/Shrimp options. I had them do a chicken/beef combo. Lots of jalapeños, grilled green onions, etc. in a thicker tomato broth. Served with the standard rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and tortillas. Very filling — spicy/hot but I loved it. We also ordered the Chicken Crema(can’t remember the exact title) — but it was very very good with rice/beans/etc. and tortillas. Both of us were very satisfied with the meals. Only disappointment — we ordered cadillac margaritas. Too syrupy — appear to come from a mix rather than fresh. Typical, but a downer considering how much we enjoyed the rest of the meal.

Are you kidding? All who say things like«I know mexican food im from» where the heck ever, and like this place are ridiculous! Terrible food! The staff is super helpful and ever so kind but the food, I mean c’mon! All those who say«I know mexican food» blah blah blah are white people who are suckered by a great staff into thinking that the food is great. It’s not. Save yourself money from overpriced food and head down to Mariachi Loco in Roseburg. Best relleno ever. Period. Had both in the same week. Si casa first then Mariachi Loco. I could tell that Mariachi Loco was legit as soon as I walked in and my nose caught a wiff of the delight that was to come. Save time and lots of money. Go to Mariachi Loco!

Worst. Burrito. Ever. Ordered four burrito plates to go, two bean and cheese, two chiles verdes — the burritos were flat; very flat — about ½ inch ‘tall’. All of them were open on both ends, with the contents running out all over. Overabundance of sauce. The chiles verdes burritos were the same inside and out — thin sauce with just a few bits of pork pieces. Very disappointing.

Went there twice in two days! I had the spinach enchiladas and veggie burrito. Service was super fast(first time food was out 5 minutes after ordering), attentive, and I loved the vibrant décor. Simply a fun place to eat. I enjoyed both meals, really liked the guacamole, and was stuffed for hours. On a bad note I did have a massive gag reflex to the lady’s restroom air freshener, but hey it was a clean restroom. I will definitely be back as my trips to Sutherlin are becoming more frequent.
