Amador Athletic Club

Amador Athletic Club is an underrated and often overlooked gym in Sutter Creek. While working in the area, I came here religiously to sculpt my glutes, quads, hams, or whatever other workout lingo I can bs.
You’ll find amenities here that generally cost you twice as much at most of the Sacramento gyms. These include TVs on the treadmills, fans, decent workout machinery, a sauna and full time daycare. While the gym is much smaller than your standard Sac area workout joint, it is never so crowded that you can’t find a treadmill or weight machine of your own. The employees and members are in general much friendlier than at the larger chain gyms.
If I had one request, it would be more classes. The classes they offer seem to be few and far between. Also, I’m not sure what is with the owner’s insistence on playing Fox «News» on as many TVs as possible. It can get annoying when all you want to do is watch sports rather than hear a sermon.
