On Purpose

I always have such a wonderful experience in On Purpose. My favorite is to look at all the crystals and healing stones. I love amethyst, and they have tons! April is so helpful every time. It smells so great in this store, they have the best incense. 5 stars!

I love this store. The offerings are eclectic, reasonably priced, and well thought out to fulfill your spiritual needs in a variety of ways. The woman who owns the store is kind, considerate, friendly and quick with an encouraging smile and explanation for what you’re pointing at or holding in your hand. She is deeply knowledgeable about her merchandise and helpful with her advice. Wander in, relax, and take the time to remember that you’re probably on vacation and looking for something to soothe the recesses of your heart. If you listen closely you may find something here.

On Purpose is what I would call a metaphysical store. This store has a lot of different metaphysical modalities to view. Plenty of cat images which was perfect for my daughter. My son liked the various rock carvings and geodes. If you are in Sutter Creek my recommendation is to visit On Purpose.

This store has a wide variety of gift and personal items from vintage to new. The jewelry is stunning, the stones are often rare. What i appreciate most is their selection of top-​grade wellness aids such as aromatherapy, environmental cures, vibrational and chakra aids, essential oils, topicals for skin health, and great soaps. The store is a visual delight and well worth a stop.

This is my favorite local shop, a true gem of Sutter Creek. I am so grateful for this magical little store in my town. Very nice people and atmosphere. Good vibes. Please support them.

Almost every small town needs it’s hippy-​dippy new age spiritualism shop, and Sutter Creek has On Purpose.
They sell just about any hippie or new age item you could want: books, reference books, spellbooks, tarot cards, incense, incense holders, sage smudge sticks, candles, crystals, wands, singing bowls, deity figurines, totem animal statues, prayer flags, and embossed velvet bags to hold all the pretties in. They even have a «reader» (which I presume is of the tarot card or palm variety) in the shop on most weekends.
But you don’t need to be a earth magic practioner or wood nymph to enjoy On Purpose’s wares. They also have plenty of gifts, cards, art, gorgrous jewelry and home & garden décor. The friendly staff will be happy to help you find whatever you’re looking for.

I love this store and the people that work there. They are knowledgeable and have some beautiful things. Store is a but pricey though. They moved due to family reasons. The store is geared towards spiritual and «new» age. They also have pretty jewelry.

Lovers of ‘new age’ and ‘spiritual’ things will revel in this small shop’s wares. Everything from crystal singing bowls to tarot cards, and countless books abound here.
I prefer the old location across the street, but its just nice to have a store that DOESN’T sell antiques to wander through.
