Tried a local Sutton restaurant on the way to route 146 and I won’t stop again. Omelet was paper thin and overcooked. Hash straight out of the can, and cheap low quality bread for toast. It really isn’t difficult to make homemade hash and your customers would thank you for it. The homefries were good although there were only about 8 served. It is half an order of most restaurants. Coffee was decent but service lacking on refills and attentiveness. Dirty plates sat on the counter waiting to be cleared. I’ve said it in other reviews if a plate’s ready to be cleared, clear it. Coffee needs a re-fill, fill it. Train employees attention to detail matters. Walking aimlessly by customers when plates in front of them need clearing is unacceptable. This area is BEGGING for a great breakfast/lunch spot… this isn’t it.

I ate here after losing my power during the snow storm on 10.30.11. It’s not bad … per se. It’s just nothing to write home about. Decorated in a very haphazard way, I guess you would say the owner(Tammy) was trying for«barn yard”/homey. Well there are farm-ish signs on the walls and wooden cut outs of pigs, chickens, and cows, but other than that … it’s kind of … drab. It is very smokey(from the grill) and I had to leave early after my eyes started watering. There are small booths(about five) and stools to sit at the breakfast/lunch counter. All food is cooked on a griddle.(Tammy is the cook and, who I assume is, her mom, and her boyfriend serve and help her out). I ordered an egg and wheat toast(along with a decaf coffee). I watched her use two eggs in the order of 1 scrambled egg so I only ended up eating ½ the eggs on my plate. The coffee was HORRENDOUS! I couldn’t finish it. Clean and«alright» as far as food goes but I would rather go to the other breakfast place right next door(well across the street and closer to Grafton by about 500 feet).
