Georgia Gymnastics Academy

The classes are fine and my daughter enjoys them. However, not providing WiFi for parents to use in the waiting area, in 2015, is ludicrous. The elderly lady at the desk is quite rude too. Not a good customer service experience but the coaches seem fine and the kids seem to enjoy their classes.

Not a lot of places offer Saturday classes for toddlers, but GGA did so we make the 30 minute drive to watch our daughter have fun in her gymastics class. She just turned 3 so now, we may find a location closer to home, and the only other thing that’s somewhat discouraging is that the tots class is held in a corner of the building where it’s hard to view from the viewing area. I feel like I’m in people’s way when I’m trying to watch my kid! Overall, we are happy with our experience here; the facility is nice, the price is comparable and Jacquelyn loves it so that’s really all that matters :)

So, looks like I posted that 20 minutes too soon… today after session, the head instructor (I’m assuming) called the parents in and reprimanded us for our kids wanting to take potty breaks and that they’re not focused and that «it must be a full moon,» because how the kids are behaving. We were told if this continues then they will start using time-​out or essentially kicking the kids out of class by bringing them to their parent. So then she said if we had any questions we can stay and ask them after, just before dismissing us. However, she DID make sure to remind us to sign up for the summer classes. Are you joking?!? These are TODDLERS! They should expect that they may have to use the restroom from time to time as most of them are in the potty training phase. If the teachers can’t keep the children engaged then there’s either too many children in the class or not enough instructors, which is NOT the parents’ fault. Now, I’m not one to just leave bad or nasty reviews (seriously read my others), but this really rubbed me the wrong way. After this month’s final session, we won’t be returning to GGA. Our daughter enjoyed her time here, however, I am sure there is another facility out there that is right for us.

I’ve been looking to get my daughter into gymnastics/​cheer/​tumbling. It’s harder to find classes for toddlers but this location offers the class. I emailed on a Saturday night to get info on registering and got a reply within 30 mins. That’s what I call good customer service. I am looking for to my daughter’s classes starting.
