Maxie was very accommodating and responsive to my calls. He was pleasant when I canceled my transaction. He is a seasoned sales person and does a great job listening and being genuine going through yet another demo. I, however, did see right through his motivation to make a sale because of an international vacation he was about to go on, but he was professional. Maxie offered an acceptable solution that worked for both of us. I am now the proud owner of a 2nd Rainbow vacuum. I purchased my 1st one in 1993. During that entire time, I only needed to replace the power nozzle. If you’re not familiar with Rainbow, 1. It is not for the«Big Easy Red Button» people. 2. Don’t be shocked with the sticker price. As cliché as it sounds, the high price tag is worth it. 3. The smell of putrid water will gross out even your husband or son. 4. You intend to dump out the water basin after each use, but you don’t. My Rainbow would be the top 2 items I would take, if I ever divorced. The in-home demo. 1. Don’t bother unless both you and your spouse can attend. You only want to go through the demo 1x. 2. Before the sales rep arrives, clearly define what your cleaning needs are. Otherwise, you’ll be swayed by the optional accessories. 3. At the conclusion of the demo, you will be mentally worn out and susceptible to making an emotional purchase. Be ready when the sales rep«throws in for free» an accessory or two or discuses a trade-in, when you’re not really getting a good deal. 4. You can win accessories, after earning so many points from their referral program. No, thanks. I am not doing your marketing for you. 5. Of all the demos, my favorite was the Aerofresh Bag. 6. Your living room will look like Christmas morning with boxes, bags and cardboard piled around. 7. Don’t feel obligated to buy just because the sales rep had to take out and unwrap all the items, one by one, from the several boxes he hauled in.
